Just Got PS3 tODAY!! Traded in my 360 and got the ps3. So far i am very happy with it. I just have a few questions. I can say that mlb 2k7 on a standard tv looks pretty bad. Resistance, mlb 07 the show and other games ive played look good. Does anyone no if mlb 2k8 is supposed to look better? Will it look better on standard tvs?
forget MLB 2k8, sign up to the PSN and go download MLB the show 08 and prepare to be amazed, they have a demo up now and it's the best Baseball game ever, you will luv the fact you got a ps3 even more.

MLB 08 the show demo just came out today and its fun as hell....only bad thing is u have to play as the rockies or the redsox..
To make it look a little better, see if you have S video. If you do, then go out and get some $5 cables. I got mine for around that amount at GameStop.
First off, nice to have you on board the PS3 ship and off the 360 one. Second, Yankees are pathetic and the Cubs are gonna win the World Series this year (please dont comment back on that, because I really dont care about the negativeness your gonna say about the Cubs). Third, if its good graphics you want get an HD tv and you WILL be amazed. Fourthly?, Im sure MLB 2K8 will have a little bit better graphics, but your better off just getting MLB 08' The Show! huge baseball fans must be luving how MLB the show 08 is turning out, the crowd actually amazes me, most crowds look like total **** in sports games, but this crowd looks bloody good, and actually interact when a ball gets hit towards them and so on, such a good sports game and looks amazing.
You might want to try out Reistance and Uncharted...those are both really good games. Resistance doesn't showcase the full amount of the PS3's power in terms of graphics, but the gamelplay is really fun. Uncharted is one of the best looking platform games I've ever seen in my life.
thanks guys. I was just wondering bc i dont have that much $. I have like 196 dollars right now and im getting $95 hopefully next friday from someone who wants to buy mass effect and other 360 stuff. Then im getting gamestop store credit tommorow ( 50 dollars) in exchange for madden 08 for 360 which im gonna put down directly on rainbow six vegas! I dont wanna seem cheap its just that these games are all coming out this month plus gta IV in April. SO i need $ for other stuff also. I need a job haha. I dont even own a game right now. IM borring uncharted, resistance and madden 08 haha. SO i also had a 50 gift card to mlb .com in which i was gonna use to buy mlb 2k8, alrady checked if they sold the show but they dont. I think ill proboly just buy 2k8 off mlb .com.
Yeah I just got my PS3 the beginging of the week and I had 360 every since it came out and I cant beleive how much better, it is than the 360 and Im just going off demos right now cause I dont got no games for the PS3 yet lol
