JUST GOT RSV!!!!! any questions??

now i just got it so im only in the first level so dont expect me to give you informtaion on how to beat this level or what weapons you get in this level etc. but i could tell you how the game is and it is amazing!! graphics look really good but it could have been better when your in the helicopter the building dont have much detail. but the framrate is smooth andkeeps upwith the action and everything thats goiing on screen.

any other questions youy guys have just ask and il com on every 10 mins or so.

I just bought the game but I'm hesitant to open it. Got the last unreserved copy at Gamestop.

Why hasn't anyone reviewed it yet?

Good to hear about the framerate, etcetera. I hear from everyone on here that it looks great, plays great online and off, and has a good framerate, so I'm about to open it.

Are the graphics on par with the PC and 360?

Is the framerate locked at 30 FPS, no slowdown?

Where did you pick it up from so i can go pick it up today?

yes the graphics are the same if not better than the pc and 360 version, but like i said there some parts like when your in the helicopter that the buildings look less detailed than the other objects in the enviorment but again they still look amazing.

the framrate looks like it does run at a nice 30 fps with no slowdowns from what i can tell so far

If I can only buy a PS3 with 2-3 games, and Im not a big FPS fan but I have been Hyping this gme for a long time, should I get this or resistance?. Also, I am more into the more tactical FPS. what other 2 games shouldI get?Tlahui

what i did like was the fact that you have a the ability to see your friends online. you press triangle on the main screen its labeled as community and there it shows all your buddy's on ps3 which since i only have resistance and havent layed any other ps3 games was simply cool to see that there!!!

ive seen some yes, mostly on buildings and the floor, but not so much where you can tell or that will bother you, its not that noticable dont worry!

Bad aliasing and pretty noticable slowdown during most of gameplay. This game runs at 20-30 frames per second. If you're indoors, it gets better. Outdoors, it's not good.

I'm not a fanboy. I own a PS3, a PSP, owned a PS2 and a PS1. I own Resistance Fall of Man and Motorstorm and think that they are fantastic games. I simply know better than you do. This game does not look fantastic, does not play fantastic, and has a choppy ass framerate. Listen to me, because I'm not lying to you, I'm not trying to cheat you, or fill your head with crap. I'm simply explaining to you that this game has some serious issues. They're not crippling, but they felt that way to me, because I'm used to high levels of antialiasing and a high framerate. Shouldn't you argue for more?

Don't buy this damn game.

The frame rate has been smooth mostly, except for the very beggining of the first single player level. The multiplayer is good..jus tdoesn seem to have alot of folks on righ tnow, but im not to surprised :P Most peopel seem to have headsets! also i dont recall seeing an optino to choose your own game in online, i think it jsut pikcs a game for you, though it has been fast. Edit: as someone above mentioned, the frame rate isnt as smooth outside. Though so far it hasnt been tha tbad, inside its prefect so far.JumpingMirrior

yea the jaggies get me, im used to playing FPS on the PC and ive never had any issues on PC with framerate or aliasing. I thought this game would be smooth. while i was playing a singleplayer mission in the casino, the lighting makes the details look really nice, but when theres no lighting it dont look too good.jm1080

yea im also a pc gamer, although i do own both a ps3 and 360, i do most of my gaming on the pc. so in your opinion, is the game really that bad? do the frames get pretty bad, and is the AA horrible?

dude i wasnt calling u a fanboy, it seems like a lot of ppl here on these boards, in general are biased to one system or another...me personally i LOVE competition because in the end it benefits us consumers.

anyways is the framerate really that bad?? i also own a 360, but my live subscription jsut ran out. i was going to get this game for the ps3, but i think i will wait for more reviews before i make my final decision.

i used to play on pc alot and never on consoles, but i got too addicted to pc, so i decided to just play games on consoles because i thought it would be better and i like ps3 as entertainment system. But the main menu looks like crap i think, i dont know if the 360 version looked like that, then i was like thats just the main menu, then i played campaign mode, and in the helicopter scene when u look around the character models look horrible, and the building textures are horrible. The game only looks good when you are in lighting, where you see reflections of the guns and characters and water, other than that if you are in a dark place i think it looks like crap compared to a PC game. and my computer is old technology with upgrades, and it feels as if my comp is more powerful than my ps3 while playing this game. I dont exactly know how you look at the Framerate on a PS3, but its ok, its not perfect, but its not that noticeable.
