just got the 120gb ps3 slim today . what games shall i get

hi im very excited i got the 120 gb ps3 slim. and got need 4 speed shift. and call of duty 5. please i need some good games for this i know fifa 10 comes out on friday and im also looking forward to final fantasy 13. . what games do you recomend me to get thanks

Depends on what kind of games you like to play, download demos for Killzone 2, MLB The Show 09, Little Big Planet and others.

I'd get MGS4, Uncharted, and MLB The Show 09, but thats just me.

All you really need is Metal Gear Solid 4.

I would recommend LittleBigPlanet, I would also hold off for Fallout 3: GOTY edition.

Congrats on the new PS3 my man!

DO NOT GET UNCHARTED:DF! Not because it's not a great game(it is) but because nothing ruins the cache of a newly released game more than playing a previous chapter in a franchise just before the new one comes out. You'll be burnt out on the gameplay by the time Uncharted 2 releases. My advice is to wait for Uncharted 2, play it and then give Drake's Fortune a go. As far as I know, the story of U2 is a standalone story independent of U. Sure, they'll be references to U:DF and characters that have appeared in that game but playing Among Theives first will not ruin any major franchise continuity.

Good thinking about getting a PS3 slim too...

im a casual gamer. i never finish my games. i mean, last year i bought 2 actualy 60 dollar games, with my own money. and no, i didnt finish either. maybe 5 hours max on each.

now i dont know if u want this opinion, but i do own all three consoles (although im selling my wii) but heres what im interested now that i do have alot more money this year:

ur starting off new, and obviously a soccer fan. PES this year is more of un upggrade than last year, compared to fifa. however, ur friends may continue on with fifa since most people played that last year, so ur fine on that.

get 2k1o over live for basket ball

nhl 10 over 2k10 for sure. were talking a a 5 star game over a 2 star game

older games u need

Ratchet for sure. i actually beat this game, and def get the new one

Uncharted is nice if u like action, adventure, and shooting games. get the first at 30 bucks and then decide on the new one

COD 5 isnt as good as 4. shoulda gotten 4 even tho its older. make sure to get MW2 if u like cod 5 or not

Demon Souls is a nice rpg. its hard tho. ive raided wow for years at 70 and 80, and it looks pretty challenging (not that wow is that hard)

Borderlands is a cool shooter. if uve played or seen fallout, think that but more arcadey

MGS 4 is nice, but unless u play the previous 3 (which i bought but failed to play) its not really that fun. dont believe the hype. i played the first of the series, had fun, but the 4 wasnt so fun for me

Arkham, Marvel UA are nice. Need for speed undercover i had fun with as my first nfs game. graphics are VERY meh, almost terrible without hd cables
