thats kinda odd my system worked alot faster when i got 2.0
Mine slowed down badly and froze every time I tried to enter a setting. I had to click a setting, let it sit for 5 mins, then it would unfreeze until I got to 'Restore Default Settings' then it went back to norm.

Dude thanks, I was getting really scared because of the constant freeze-ups after update 2.0. I thought I was losing my PS3 :S Gonna install right now
My PS3 has been experiencing frequent freezes and sow down.
On top of that, it completely messed up some of the tv shows I had put under videos. They're now unplayable. This happened after I began viewing shows through my PSP. Don't know if anyone's experienced this as well.

I know before the 2.0 my PS2 games were great, but after unplayable, they were wayyy tooo darkkk. Havent updated to 2.01 yet, had to work :( will when i get home :)

Hey I only asked because i was not aware....thats how you learn about things. Thanks for telling me peeps anyway. T he freezing on assassins creed seems to be fine also,must have helped that also..AAA game by the way.
