you didnt happen to be playing underwater did you? the demo looks bad on a HD tv cuz the demo isnt in HD. But the full version of it is and it looks great. I plan on buying it. the online was alot of fun in the demo.

why is the demo not in hd?? that doesnt make sense every game or demo is hd there is no point in having it in sd on the ps3..
From what i hear it looks slightly under the 360 version which isn't a bad thing considering it had great graphics for that system. I played the demo and it was pretty solid but i doubt i'll be picking it up. There are better games to spend your money on this year, i suggest you start saving now by not buying Lost Planet.

Yea good question. I mean we know the hardware can push it, and than some. Heck it can push more than any home hardware out. And all wondered "how do you get a burnout look so good, with a Madden so bad?" Different teams of course. Same publisher. And we aloud the teams to call out first gen development knowledge. And say thats why. Or lack of.
But You get a game like this. And first off, how much reason is their to bring this game out. Theirs alot of games out now, is it a need. More so,, is it a need, if its gonna be a mess. Where is the point in brining it out. Theirs no line of reasoning to even have this game. But they have made one "its out for a reason!." And thats the intreaging part of all this.

idk but its not...it was a bad choice for them...also the file size is very small.
Um, hell to the no.:lol: I suggest that you go back and play some PS2 games or get your tv fixed, because Lost Planet is a gorgeous game on my 57" LCD. :)

The demo is 720p... It looks more like a late generation PS2 game with current gen lighting, but it plays great.. better than most shooters.
A lazy port by Capcom... on its original form(as in the 360 version), it was once a good looking game. Compared to any of the recent games on the PS3(Uncharted, Ratchet, DMC4, etc.) it looks pretty dull.

Why care about graphics so much in this game.. It might not focus on graphics as much as Uncharted, but that leaves room for the amazing gameplay. This game kicks almost every shooters a** in the gameplay department.

Oh yea? I feel that Lost Planet fails in gameplay too.
visuals wise the game is not at all under 360. it is actualy imo a little better looking and yea the demo wasnt in HD, while the game is. That was a terribly dumb move by Capcom but if you can scale that up the game looks and paly very sharp. online is original and fun, however with the alternatives of CoD4 and R6V2 there is really no point in buying this!
If it's the game I'm thinking of, collect heat sources out of aliens arses, or along those lines, then I bought the special edition when I had a 360, then the day after I traded it back in.
The graphics were reminiscent of MGS2, only playing MGS2 again confirms that statement is a bit optimistic, it looks worse...
The gameplay and general premise of the game was terrible aswell.
dude save ur money... i own it for 360... buy rainbow 6 vegas 2, or something better.. trust me, u'll like the snow but later u find out it's slowly killing u...no seriously... ur thermal bar crap keeps going down and when it reaches zero... ur lijfe bar goes down and u die... did i mention, the game HAS NO CHECK POINTS AND THE LEVEL IS FRIGGEN HUGE!

I agree. I played the demo and the contols were sluggish for me.
