ok im sure there have been plenty of posts about this but does it bother anyone else that most ps3 games are not as good as xbox? now i love my ps3 and love the games for it but im tired of having second rate games. i paid $600 for a system that does many amazing things and now im ready for 1 amazing game that is ours. im no fanboy and i like all the systems (not equally) but i am ready for something to come out that makes gamers say man i have to have a ps3 kinda like halo or gears of war. well i feel somewhat better nowand just so you know i like my ps3 much better than my other systems so dont think i am trying to take anything away from it and give credit to the 360.
this happens with all new consoles. Remember that the 360 has been out for longer, the developers are more familiarized on how to work with the hardware. When the ps2 came out, the devolpers also complained that it was hard to develop for, but look how good they made games look(i.e. God of War) once the understood the hardware. Just give it some time. Imagen how games will look when they can work with the ps3 like they did with the ps2. Look at KillZone and Heavently Sword, games are only gonna get better visually.

Ive already had my i must buy a ps3 moment when i saw the mgs4 demo i went and bought a ps3 a week or two later.
It's the same thing i had when i saw gears before 360's launch i thought damn i have to buy one of them.
And i also bought the wii without having that wow factor and i sold it to pay for ps3 and 360 games, my sis has a wii i can play mario on hers.
final fantasy versus XIII and normal XIII will be amazing... lair will be great... warhawk will be awesome... Heavenly Sword will kick ass... MGS4 will be freakin sweet... sigma is already awesome(i know... black... but they dont have extras or rachels chapters)... and then theres the multiplatforms like assassins creed, which will rock, and COD4 which will be really good too... then we have fallout 3 coming out in 2008... and i forgot about littlebigplanet too.
Now, lets see... 360 has gears of war and halo (and bioshock, but that doesnt really count cause its for pc too) which are its real heavy hitters. the above games are ALL shaping up to be heavy hitters forthe ps3. id say were pretty well off.
