just started red dead redemption

I was amazed when i started the game last night :) i feel that it would be a good one and its better than gta for me :) it kinda had a feel for its good ambiance and the sound of the guns are good too

Prepare to spend hours upon hours on this awesome game.

I hope I can get into it, because I got it, then I played it for 2 days and went back to Fallout New Vegas, and I've been trying to get Plat. But... after FO is out of the way, maybe then I can get into it.

Enjoy it, it's truly a great game. Also has, in my opinion, one of the best endings in video game history.

You can also drop em with one bullet to the head with a buffalo rifle.

Yeah, same here but for a different reason other than platinuming. I played Red Dead Redemption for like a day or so, and went straight back to playing AC Brotherhood online. But I know I will do my best to atleast finish Red Dead Redemption before LA Noire is released.

Lol and also, besides cougars, watch out for wolves! Nearly got killed by a pack when i tried helping a fellow up in the moutains and needless to say....he got killed instead. :( :lol:

Killing a bear with a knife is fun! That was such a pain in the butt challenge.

Its a fantastic game that im still playing even though it was a day one purchase for me.

my favorite game this gen along with the mass effect series. its alot better than gta4 imo. if you have it on 360, id recommend getting it on that though. it looks and plays better than the ps3 version, but its still great no matter what

Watch out for endless cycles of killing and skinning packs of wolves.

Kill and skin one pack..turn around...two more packs chasing you..kill and skin them..turn around...another pack after you :o

Brilliant game, i love the drug addicted doctor from London. Miles better than GTA. Also the movie theatre is brilliant.

And just a quick tip: Save the asian guy with his wagon being shot at when you come across him (its random). Kill the guys shooting at him and you get a reward that will help you quite a bit in the game. It has nothing to do with the story, just a side quest you can only start randomly.

Be prepared for hours of super boring missions.

It only took me 12 hours.

nice thats a good game!!! Took me 3 days straight to beat, and I mean 24-hr days with just me my ps3 red dead and some redbull XD I 100%ed it for the Redeemed trophy too. Time consuming y'know. Close to the plat
