I used to have Kane And Lynch (Blockbuster worthy story) but the MP really pissed me off. Good concept, but everybody being greedy gets old quick. Plus the only friend I played with had sold it, so I didnt play it much after that.
Army of Two is awesome, the campaign is short but its soooooo fun. MP is ok, but co op is the best co op game Ive ever played over Live (I have it for 360 lol)
Lol, I went to rent Army of Two last Sunday and they didnt have it but later that day I went to Walmart with my father and he saw the game and he's like "Hey Matthew, is this the game you wanted to rent?" and I told him "Yeah, why?" and he said "Well go ahead and get the cashier to get it out, Ill buy it for you.". Lol, now I have to wait till Teusday to play Vegas 2 :)id go with army of two. kane and lynch to me was terrible...and iv only playd a little of army of two and it was pretty good, awsome graphics....cudos to the guy who thought of the renting the games idea. if anything id rent them too.

Simple as that.I just want a third person shooter on ps3 , and i'm looking on theese two.Which one should i get?karlotikasOh no... you said the K word...
Neither are worth a purchase, but if you must get one, go with Army of Two. The aiming in Kane and Lynch is terrible.Shinedown220
I played army of two for the first time yesterday on my friend's 360 and i thought the aiming was pretty bad itself. I swear, neither one of us could kill anyone that was running across from us. But it was our first time playing it so maybe we just need more practice. But anyway, i played the kane and lynch demo and i thought it was coo. I'm pickin it up tomorrow for 30 bucks so i don't think i could lose at that price. But for you, renting both would probably be the best option.
Kane and Lynch is by far the better game of the two. If you've ever seen the style and mood Io can put into a Hitman game, their best effort is Kane and Lynch. From a city-wide chase in Florida to the top of a Japanese skyscraper, Kane and Lynch depicts it's environments with far more care and detail than Army of Two.
If it's story you care about, Kane and Lynch is a much better story with far more fleshing out. Unlike Army of Two, mission variety varies greatly. You'll go from clubs, to warzones with hundreds of enemies, and even an excellent bank robbery.
Both are obviously co-op games, but Kane and Lynch has a much better system. Helping your buddy is much better and takes less time than dragging them around a level, which are smaller than Kane and Lynch's by the way. Also, you should note that for multiplayer scenarios, Kane and Lynch has a much better set of scenarios and supports more players.
If you're a fan of MTV-references, fist-pounding and calling people "bro" then Kane and Lynch sadly has nothing to offer you, but Army of Two has all the "Wannabe Cool" you can stand.
Yeah I agree Army of Tools is a stupid game and I couldn't wait for the game to end the characters are stupid and at you can predict the end of the game at the beginning. They try to hard to make it sell like Gears of War. Like other **** EA games, everything is staged and there isn't any replay value at all. Worst of all you can't pick up enemy weapons, which really pissed me off. And "pimpin" the weapons is probably one of the lamest things I ever seen.
Kane & Lynch is way more darker and even though they are evil people that only care about themselves, they are a lot more likable than Salem & Rios who just try to be MTV VJs on spring break. Kane & Lynch also has great replay value like Gears of War and Halo 3, which are also fun to play on co-op. And if you ever saw the movie Heat you would highly respect Kane & Lynch for modeling one level after it. Don't get Ao2 its stupid as hell, get Kane & Lynch.
