Kane and Lynch 2 is..

AS HORRIBLE AS THE FIRST ONE! I can't believe how little it's been improved. The game doesn't look good, the shooting sucks and shot characters fall down in such a weird, unrealistic way. I bet Mafia 2 (which is going to be a sand-box game) will have better shooting mechanics then this crap.

I definitely agree. This is pretty terrible. The visual style is really bizarre and just annoying to be honest.
Everything about it is so dated.
Which is disappointing. I was quite looking forward to some good co-op play with a friend.

eh, i liked it the grainy filter is weird at first but i adjusted and liked the shooting mechanics, I'm not a fan of the multiplayer though it just feels like it would get old and boring fast. So i'm just going to go through the single player and not touch the online unless they re-haul it

It's better then the first one, at least from what the demo showed. Regardless, it's a rent for me since I saved up for Mafia II. ;)

I think its better than the first but still bad. I thought the camera was the worst of its problems, when you run its difficult to see where you're going. Gunplay is pretty poor too.

the Camera movement is what bothered me (running). It sucks though.

The first game was good. As so is this one. Go back to playing wii. It's a little less challenging.

It's not even the gameplay and stuff that I dislike about it so much. It's how gross and disgusting the main characters are...I know it's shallow to judge a book by it's cover and all that, but all the ads and stuff I've seen are so awful I don't even want to play the game and have to look at them the entire time.

This is actually close to one of the reasons I hate Bayonetta too. I worked at GameStop right before it was released and they were showing the commercial for it on the TV in there about every 2 minutes. That STUPID "In For The Kill" song played ALL THE DAMN TIME and now I despise the game purely from the ads. I told the guys I worked with "you know, that could be the best game ever, but I'm never going to play it because of that stupid commercial."

So maybe I'm missing out on good/decent games, but in my opinion they don't deserve my money because their ads were so damn annoying.

I have not had a chance to play the demo yet but this was the first post I read that had any commen sense. I also enjoyed the first one alot and looking forward to checking out this demo next week.

Yeah I admit the idea IS original and sounds brilliant but it isn't fun to play through

The characters are the main reason I played all through the first game. I really liked their story but a game is mostly about the gameplay. I had hoped that they would have learned a lesson from the failure of the first game but it's still too similar to the first one. It looks like a very good looking ps2 game IMO
