I read this article about a week after I got my PS3 and I've been waiting for more news on it but so far nothing. Anybody else have any idea when they'll release it?
You can already get PC wireless keyboards that have built in mice, ok they are not bluetooth and require a USB port for the dongle but it beats waiting for Sony to enable bluetooth Keyboard support.
here is a link to one I have for my PC.. i dont have PS3 yet waiting for the Euro launch but i do know those that have used it with their imported U.S and Japanese PS3s and it worked fine.. oh price is in £s not sure if there is a U.S model i'm sure someone can check for that.

I have a wireless USB keyboard/mouse that works with my PC's. It does not work with the PS3. I have tried it.
I didn't say all Pc keyboards work i just said there are some.. including the one i posted a link for. if yours doesn't work then that's one to avoid maybe you can post the name and model of it so others know not to get that one.
Why do yo guys need your stupid keyboard and mouses on the PS3, why can't you play with the controller like everyone else, stop trying to make games unfair. If you want to play with keyboards and mice, then go play PC games.
The only sad part is that FPS games on the PS3 won't use the keyboard and mouse combo.
This is why FPS games are best on the PC. Can't compare a controller to a keyboard and mouse when we are talking about FPS games. It's night and day.

Go to the logitech web site, they have one there specific-ly for the ps3, or you could go with some of their other wireless keyboards and mouse. I'm using the wireless dinovo model, it works like a charm.

who say's it's just for gaming yeah it's a part of it but i plan on using it for web browsing, linux and other things that using a controller just isn't that good for, did you think about that before you posted.. guess not.

lol...I was going to responed to his post, but you did a good job.
Quake will have keyboard and mouse support. Hopefully, so will Half Life. I will ONLY buy FPS with keyboard and mouse support going forward. The sixaxis is a great controller and a nice update from the PS2 version (I love Motorstorm with tilt function!), but for any shooter it's absolutely unbearable. I cannot wait for Quake, baby!
