its tough like a love hate relationship, at one point i dont like them becuase i hate someone knowwing were i killed them from but on the other hand i cant stand super campers and that is kind of a deterent. I like socoms kill cam the most it does not show exactly where they are but points you in the direction and you have about 5 seconds to notice or the cam drops off
Helps me figure out where that camper is holded up, Sitting in the same spot alllll match never moving more than a few feet usually behind a barrel or using part of the scenery
In the case of COD, I can use it when I need to. If I don't need to figure out where someone is sniping or camping from I skip it. I liked them in KZ2 cause they didn't show you exactly where your killer was, just the general direction from which the shot came. This is good when your defending a flag or something. The point of Domination in COD is to capture and HOLD the flags... so some "camping" is required.
The CoD kill cams are so terrible, like half of them show people randomly spamming bullets around and the little white X comes up showing it's hitting you, but the bullets are like a foot away from you.
I remember when I first got MW2 I would watch every single kill cam, I thought this was a great addition to the game and I always got the "watched most kill cams" prize at the end of each round. After playing Medal of Honor without kill cam's I soon reverted back to the COD series.
You had to pay attention and go find the guy that killed you. It also makes sniping completely useless. Why have sniper rifles if there are kill cams?
Yeah, I never play as a sniper, but I totally get your point there. Kinda sucks to be a sniper when they're giving away your hiding spot with every kill.
