Honestly what did you guys think of the controls in KZ2.. I liked the heavy feeling but it felt extremely hard to aim, almost just plain clunky. After watching some KZ3 videos it looks like they fixed it and people dont have trouble aiming like they did in the previous game. But, i hope they didnt take away the heaviness and turn it into more of a COD.

I just got KZ2 the other day, and find the controls clunky as well. The cover system is what I am trying to get most used to. I think it is still a great game, but the controls do feel slow and outdated to me. However, I haven't messed around with it too much, and this is not going to distract me from playing this great game. I still would be interested in how the controls in KZ3 compare.

I was in the KZ3 beta and i can say that more people will be happy with the controls in number 3! They have struck a balance between heavy and fast, the alming is alot like COD but still resembles KZ2. The movement is the exact same as KZ2. Im one of the people who had zero issues with KZ2 controls and was annoyed at the change. But after playing the beta i was happy with the result.

How recent are those videos? The non-recoil was addressed during the first beta along with some major gun balancing issues. I remember one of the LMG's had zero recoil and was dead accurate... then they "fixed" it;) There are a lot of COD like features in KZ3, but not enough to turn away fans of KZ2. Like the killstreaks just give you bonus points, and the unlock points have been done in Black Ops and Halo... so there's nothing new there. But, I like having the option of what upgrades I want to use.

See....that's what i am talking about..."BALANCED" controls!!! I am one of those people who had problems with KZ2 controls but I dealt with it. I didn't want KZ to turn into COD but Idid want more options at customizing the controls or at least striking a balance as you said!!!

I actually prefferd and was better with the Killzone 2 controls than i was with the COD controls. I haven't played Killzone 2 for about a year maybe so things might have changed. But hopefully, they will stick with the Killzone 2 controls for Killzone 3. If they put the COD controls in, i think it could potentially change the experience a fair bit.

I really liked the controls in KZ2, but I did tweak the thumbstick sensitivity up just a little bit, but overall I liked the weighty feel. I hope we get more of the same in KZ3.

Yeah, it looks like a lot of fun!!!

Btw, the levels and visuals take a big fat steaming dump on CoD.
