Killzone 2 difficulty

Was thinking about picking this one up but I'm worried about the difficulty level after speaking to a friend of mine who owns the game. I havn't had my PS3 too long and the only FPS I have played so far is Resistance: Fall of Man. Although it was tolerable I found the game way harder then the avg FPS, hard enough to where it took away enjoyment of the game for me. I'm worried that I may buy Killzone 2 and need to go on high blood pressure medication. I don't need to be that aggrivated while playing a game. And please don't come in here saying "I played it on the hardest difficulty and it was easy" like I always read on posts like this one. I need honest opinions, FPS are not my genre of choice so I am probably avg. at best at them. What do you guys think? Take a chance or no?

The only hard thing in Killzone 2 is the last level. The rest are easy but Resistance 2 is a lot more like your average FPS regenerating health, two guns etc. So get Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 if you can. R2 is also pretty easy I can;t remember any boss fights were i got so pissed I turned off the game. But yea unless you don't mind a hard last level pick up Killzone 2

i would rate Killzone 2 in a medium difficulty. The online part is fun tho so once your good enough in single player ull have alot of fun online.
