killzone 2 freezing

I'm up to the end of "the Cruiser" level, I walk into the launch bay, a loading message appears and then the game freezes.

Anyone else have this issue?

This is really annoying, I can't finish the game. I have tried replaying the level, doing this differently etc etc.

I do have the latest patch so it has not fixed it.

I'm so sick of developers not properly testing their games and relasing rubbish.

Thats 2 games recently that I have not been able to finish because of a bug. The other one was Farcry 2.

anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing it? Currupt save game, bad disc etc??

I have never had a problem with my game, and it looks like others havent really either. I would say its a bad disc, i know that happened to me when i first bought fallout 3 it wouldnt even work, then i got another copy and it was smooth sailing.:D

Never had this issue with either games so I think it might be your system.

same problem here.

Disk is crystal clean, system is new game is frozen in a loading screen near the end of the cruiser level.

Even when I resume the campaign it is stack on the loading.

So no real heat issues or system. Something is conflicting in there.

A patch could fix this.

Is it installed ont he HDD?

well i dont think its them not testing out their hardware, cause if it was a problem, Guerilla woudl fix it. Now if this was Square Enix (who i love) they would blame Sony and Sony would blame them. I am only saying this, cause FF13 bricked my friends PS3 and no one is diong anythign about it :(

To top it all off, he bought my old PC off me and now is having trouble getting Windows 7 on it. So he only has his 360 *poor guy*
