Killzone 2 isn't copying sprinting from COD4....

This original CG trailer shows the sprinting in it...it looks alright but if u look at the new gameplay footage its refined a lot.

To the ppl who say that Killzone is copying COD4 with the sprinting and the zooming their wrong...if Killzone 2 came out before COD4 everyone would say COD4 is copying Killzone...

hah true. i will say that people saw sprinting during the developement of KZ2 before CoD4.
personally i really havent even heard anything about people raving about KZ2 copying CoD4.

Wolfenstein and Doom only had Sprint! There was no option to walk!emitsu97

The Hitman games had sprint. The default was walking, then you hold a button to run. I think every hitman game had it - which were all before COD4.

If anything in the game is as good as or better than cod4 I'm all for it. But keep in mind that most fps for the next few years are gonna use COD4 as a model for making a successful shooter.

A lot of games have sprint in them. If anything, sport games r the ones that started the "sprint". And Kill Switch was the first game to use the cover system. Too bad the game wasnt that great.

this game doesnt look all that good.

the flames and explosions under the bridge looked terrible, ps2 terrible. it didnt actually look like it was gameplay footage the gun moved so weird and the person shooting killed everything easily before they saw him.

the overall graphics look ok but i dont know what the hype is gta4 has far better graphics to this. im sure this game might have a good story but i dont see the huge hype. half life has an amazing story but had no hype no 1 knows a bout killzone yet its 1 of the biggest hyped ps3 games. and graphically im not impressed with the game

I'm sure KZ1 already had sprint in it... As for the scope aim; its not really copying seeing as its been done so many times in games that came out way before CoD4...gekidami

Indeed...I don't know about you, but Unreal Tournament comes to mind. UT3 feels so watered down on both the PS3 and PC.
