I've owned Killzone 2 since launch but didn't really care much for the multiplayer until a couple of days ago. I figured I would give a game a second chance due to a new patch with regards to the controls. I have to admit, these new controls are really doing it for me. They're not as heavy as they were before, but they're not as loose as CoD. They're just right in my opinion. Killzone 2's controls require a lot more tweaking than most games, but I think I've finally got them down to a point where I feel truly comfortable....

Now...onto the actual game. I LOVE THE STRATEGIC ELEMENTS! Though it may not be as strategic and tactical as say, SOCOM, it really does matter what class you and your team chooses. I play a team based game and try really hard to lead my team by directing them and making kills. I try to find people with mics to join my squad and we work out classes. I love it. In 2 days I've played 40 games and I'm 34-4-2 right now with a ridiculous 1.40 K/D ratio. That may not seem impressive to most, but that's really good for me.

The last 2 nights have been some of the most fun I have had playing online FPS in a very very long time. Just finding good people to communicate with and work out team strategies has been a blast. This game really is a mix of Team Fortress 2 and CoD. I really love this game and expect to be playing it for a long time.

If you're a fellow Killzone 2 player who enjoys communicating and playing tactically, and most importantly, enjoys winning, please add me to your friends list. I will be playing this game A LOT in the future and look forward to playing with people who share the same playing style as me.

Also, if you have the DLC, please let me know how you like it. I'm interested in buying it, but don't want to waste the money if there are not a lot of people playing the maps. The install base of this game is MUCH less than CoD 4 (the only game where I thought the maps were actually worth it) and I worry that I will buy the maps and not have anyone to play them with.

I look forward to meeting more good players and having fun online.

BTW...I am an EXCELLENT MEDIC and Squad Leader.

Feel free to add me. I went 4 hours without losing a game tonight. I was the medic, another teammate was an Engineer, one was a solider, and one was a Tactician. We were dominating like it was none of our business. Most fun I've had in a long time playing FPS.
