I'm thinking something like a remake of KZ1 to connect the storyline. I mean let's be honest here for a second, not many people played the piece of crap on the PS2 that is Killzone 1. Many people complained that the story is the weakest point of Killzone 2, and I agree since all I can gather from the start of the game is that the ISA is attacking the planet Helghan in response to an invasion. All I'm suggesting here is that a DLC can tie up loose ends, and add some more hours to the single player campaign.

Ok but there were a LOT of better FPSs out there, and I'm sure many have opted to not purchase it based on hype alone.

I played and loved the first Killzone...I didn't think it was crap. I also didn't think the story in Killzone 2 was that complicated to understand if you didn't play the first one either. Look it up online if you don't want to play the original. Wikipedia it; it's not that difficult.

I still have the original. Some DLC would be cool though.

I don't know about you but when playing a game I prefer not to dig up the background story on it. Feels just like too much work.

Negative. Negative. And negative. Anyways, it'd be too soon for DLC the game's been out for barely a month and your already talking about DLC?! Yes I know some games have DLC as soon as they're released (i.e. SF IV) but that doesn't mean every game needs DLC straight away.

well some people like to read up on games they play... if its that good. and tbh i love kz storyline, i thought it was quite good. i agree there was better games in kz1's time but still a soild shooter. i agree tho dlc would be great. some new maps would be killer. you guys think its possible to add to classes ? if so you think they would ?

New Ribbons and new classe would be cool. The Helghast should be able to unleash a Heavy on ISA and the ISA should have an equal type of attack, maybe an APC filled with ISA Bots land and attacks the helghast!

Well thats your fault than, if you don't like to dig up the story. I loved the first killzone, it was actually one of my favorite fps's on the ps2. But dlc would be great for KZ2, like new maps or weapons.

I'm SUPER lazy yo.

If you really likedthe original KZ then why against the idea of a remake on DLC? Imagine the original but with current gen graphics and a more polished gameplay.

... LOLWUT... Was that a joke? It is LITERALLY like going to google, typing in ONE word, and pressing enter... takes less than 5 seconds... and then you read. Except you go to Wikipedia, not google.

I have to agree that the story in KZ2 was quite weak, the setting was awesome but not much story to speak of. Story is very important in a SP game for me because it gives you a reason to care why you're doing what you're doing. I never played KZ1 either because I didn't own a PS2 so maybe the story was better if you already had play that one, but you should have to play the prequels to enjoy the story of a game.

to the topic at hand, yes killzone needs dlc. More stages, a higher level cap that should take me months to reach, and yeah that's about it.

The comment that kz1 was crap is crap. Yes the gameplay wasn't up to par with other fps' but the game story is ok. I had fun with it to be honest. If you never played the first one and have some confusion on the second one... your bad. Don't jump on the bandwagon and get mad 'cause you don't know what's going on.

I'm gone.

oh yeah, to remake the original would be a waste of time and money (for the developers and consumers). I wouldn't buy it.
