To be honest, SPUs, GPUs and the such are pretty much gibberish for me but I think some people will be interested to know that sort of thing :D

Honestly I'm kind of tired of hearing about the cell's "theroetical power". I mean seriously. The stats they have posted are only possible in specific instances in the perfect environment. Honestly I don't think it has anything to do with a certain percentage of processing power, it's just that developers get more comfortable with the cpu architecture throughout the lifespan of a console and thus graphics, framerates, etc improve.

I still think that if there actually is that much untapped power in that beautiful black box, we are in for some seriously amazing games in the coming years :)

Of course there is. Look at early games on the PS1/PS2 and then compare that to games released late in the console's life. Developers will continue to be more comfortable with the cell, especially given it's different architecture.

lol not this again did they not state this sort of thing with metal gear and gears for 360 only taking up 50% lol, it still doesn't mean games are going to be two times the graphical capabilities of gears or mgs.

If Killzone 2 "only" uses 60%, I can't wait to see games that use 95%+ of it's overall power.
