Killzone 2 or Resistance 2 for multiplayer?

I'm looking at picking one of these up to primarily play the multiplayer. My question is which has better online play? I wanna know things such as the communities, weapons, game modes, maps played, the amount of glitchers, in game lag, and i people camp or only use like one cheap weapon?

Killzone 2 is better in my opinion. A lot more fun

Oh something else, I play Vegas 2 online right now and I'm used to not having shields or a lot of health, are either of these games like that healthwise? regenerating health, med-packs?

they both have regenerating health, but it takes a little while longer for your health to totally regenerate in killzone. also, it takes quite a bit more shots to kill someone in resistance. idk, i never really thought much of resistance's multiplayer. it just seems pretty generic and not very fun to me. id definitely go with killzone 2, and on top of that, if you ever want to try out the single player campaigns, killzone 2's is really good.

Killzone 2. Everything just feels more polished. Plus, it takes too many shots to kill someone in Resistance 2, and most of the weapons are a joke.

KZ2 is pretty good even though it's a Rocket Spam fest when you get to the higher ranks which really sucks. I'm feeling like everyone is just using the rocket luncher and spams rockets.

I'd go for Killzone 2 on Multiplayer, you'll be spending hours and hours on multiplayer.

from what i played KZ2 is more worthwhile.

R2, the only thing i liked was the co-op, but thats not really multiplayer

At first i ranked both of them the same, but in the last few months iv'e found that finding a match on R2 takes awhile (especially at night) like theres nobody playing it anymore. but in KZ2 i like it more because u can select if u want to play only one game mode or play all of them in just one match, plus as was said before u can limit / restrict the guns that can be used, but i think u can do that in R2 also.

anyways i guess what im trying to say is IMHO if i had to choose just 1 i would go with KZ2 for now. but what i forgot to mention tho and why i said for now is that the developers of R2 update the game quite a bit more than others ive seen and when all us players start b!tchin enough they sometimes increase the ranks and the difficulty levels which is a plus to us all to keep us playing. but im glad i dont have that choice to make cause i got both of them and i play both quite often:twisted:

killzone online is sick n the weapon are not bad to and for resistance ok weapon and ok online but for resistanse there no startegy because to much people and theres a lot of people who camp in resistance.

I have just recently started to play resistance 2 competitive again after a long time and I must say that I am really enjoying it more than Killzone 2, but as a couple other people have mentioned the community definitely isn't there. I would say Killzone 2, just because more people play it and it's also pretty fun.

KZ2 for competitive and R2 for coop. R2 competitive while good is lacking compared to KZ2. KZ2 has better maps and classes however, R2 has more unlocks they just take longer. Both are rewarding but KZ2 is better for competitive imho

I'm not too worried about KZ's online community dying, Vegas 2 has been out for a long time and still has a great community even with games like Modern Warfare and Killzone out.

you shouldnt have to ask for killzone 2... the game is awesome and i adore the new old maps from killzone 1! its really fun and actually morepeople are getting mics but still it isnt as great and the xbox live but....playstation people aint rude :D as for resistance i havent played it i played the first one online and i really didnt like it due to the over abundance of 1 shot kills but dont take my word on it but get killzone :D
