Killzone 2 Petition to Get Back Two Player Split-Screen and Bots

I made this petition in regards to the recent preview at IGN that states Killzone 2 will not have split-screen in multiplayer or even bots to my knowledge. Please sign this petition to get these features put into an already great game before it's too late.

For me it is an experience with Split-Screen for a friend or brothers but that was long ago. Really its all about the online play, I would love to see a feature for this to come back. But in my opinion, I really think it would be best bet to leave it out so the gameplay will be much more achieved.

But sure why not... Not really the game I am looking towards...

It's not happening. Besides, why would you want to take away from this game's astounding visual prowess by having the developers downgrade the graphics? Although bots in multiplayer would be cool...IamTehN00bness

I am not a PS3 owner, but I happed to see this post listed on the main forum screen. I have noticed this disturbing trend on most most next gen games. I also like split screen multiplayer games. I would much prefer having some friends over to play together than playing against someone I do not know several states away. If your friends do not own the same console and game, then you will never be able to play together. Even worse, what do you do when the company takes the servers down for your favorite game? Then you are stuck with a single player experience only.

THis is one of the primary reasons that I have yet to purchase a new console. Most games I have looked at that I would expect to have split screen are only one player unless you play online. I looked at several fps, command and conquer, battle for middle earth 2, nascar 09, medal of honor, and several others. THis really sucks. Programmers do not want to take the time to add bots and split screen, and I in return will not buy their product. I hope others follow suit until they get the hint. I remember the fun days of goldeneye 64 with 3 friends. What a blast.

All the other high profile games have split-screen like call of duty 4, so why not this?

If it doesn't have both of these features it WILL be an average shooter.

It's not gonna work. Stupid kids want online for every game so you are out of luck. I would like offline split screen and bots, but these days online is where the kiddies will be. Sad I know=(Devourment423

How can you say it's stupid? Bots are always predictable but when you fight an actual player you never know. Because we prefer a challenge it's stupid? Pff, whatever.

All the other high profile games have split-screen like call of duty 4, so why not this?

Very few games are made that allow you to play any type of multiplayer locally. Why did they make it so the PS3 could have up to 7 controllers at the same time if they knew that everything was going to be online. If you want to play with any friends you need to set up a bunch of tvs and PS3s with internet at the same place. This new generation of gaming is is turning people into social outcasts. Gone are the days when you had 8 friends or so over playing games like Madden and NHL, socializing, setting up tournaments and most of all having fun. Ditto with all the racing games. turpina1974

I want the same features as in Resistance. Offline coop, Online coop, Offline split screen multiplayer (doesnt matter if it has bots, though that was what made the split screen of the first one of the best imo).

wow are you serious, im so freakin mad... this really effect me simply because i always have parties and friends over .. so we always play games and have tournemets playing, games like halo3 and takeing turns and what not. i was wating to get killzone 2 for this reason so we can stop playing halo 2.5 but kinda sucks i just miss the old goden eye days

I will not be buying it if it doesnt have offline multiplayer with bots. There's already enough games that lack offline 2 player as it is. Xcaliber26

Bots are not useless!! Say if you want to practice, then you can play against bots so you can learn without ruening your record.

They can also be used to fill any place in when a real player isn't present.

Also, splitscreen is good so you don't have to keep taking turns with one controller.
