Killzone 2 users as of 2010?

Okay MAG and MW2 aren't scratching my FPS itch. In fact, no other FPS this console generation has struck me like KZ2 did. I am planning to go back to that if there enough users online. So is anyone out there still on KZ2 or has everyone converted over to MW2 and/or MAG?

I just started playing KZ2 again. I'm going through the campaign again and then I'll be playing online.

I actually played Killzone 2 for a couple of hours today for the first time in a long time. I had absolutely no problem with finding a game and having fun with other players. It may not get as much traffic as other games, such as Halo, but there are always people looking to play online and it's really quick and easy jumping in with them.
I'm actually more worried about MAG. It's new now, so there's a lot of people online, but the fact that it's an online-only game, I worry that in the long-run it will become hard to find a maxed out 256 player game when it dies down in popularity.

Yeh plenty of people play it, Ill be back on sometime but playing Warhawk, Pacific Rift and the new Ratchet & Clank game so im a bit pre-occupied.

But i do plan on buying the map pack whentheres a special offerand getting back on K2!

If the horrendous launch of SOCOM Confrontation couldn't stop an online only game I don't see MAG disappearing any time soon.

I still play KZ2. I never have trouble finding games.

GG should have made some more large maps like pyrus rise and such. The gameplay on those large maps is just awesome. I would say alot better than MAG, BF and cod. To many of the maps though just felt like Killboxes, which were fun, but definitly can wear you out over time lol.

I would say this gen in the fps genre KZ2 is the winner, but Socom has taken me back to my roots with tps's.

Yeah there les plyers online cause its been a while but defently get it. There lots of matches to play in.

PS3 has so many great online games that I hate that I have to choose one over another. I loved playing R:fom and Warhawk. I played Warhawk online for the longest time. Then I got into R2's coop and multiplayer. Then KZ2 came out and it was the only multiplayer game I played until MW2 came out. Then my ps3 got ylod and I couldn't afford to get it fixed. I'm getting it fixed this week and I want to get into MAG but I also want to get back into MW2, Warhawk, KZ2, R2's coop, and play singleplayer games. ARGHH!! The sad thing is that all of these games still have active multiplayer.

I can't beat the game. Im stuck at the palace, i can't stay alive. I love this game but for the last couple of weeks I played it a couple of hours every other day and i can't advance without dying. I've tried so many strategies and nothing. I feel really bad but I might be getting rid of it, it just gets on my nerves. I dont think it is supposed to be that hard.

It's tough, but the key is to keep moving up. You have to keep gaining ground, otherwise the enemies will just keep coming. I think that's the palace, right near the end when you're taking the fight to Visari and Radec right?

That's great level design right there if you ask me. You can't just take your time and clear out all of the enemies. It's so hectic. Great game. I've only played the multiplayer a little, but I want to get into it more, when I have the time.

I haven't played Killzone for a while, but I think there is still a reasonable amount of players playing it.

I still play KZ2 and i still love it.

I just checked the rankings on KZ2 to see how many people went online today, and it says 5,461, for the entire week over 50,000 people went online. So you should be able to play games online.

Don't pass this game up, it's a lot of fun online, I've only been playing KZ2 online for the last week andI have already achieved a Weekly Honor Rank of #1 despite only playing 7 hrs the entire week.

Online is very balanced and very rewarding. Unlike in MW2, you really can't camp effectively in this game because your character can take some punishment before getting killed and campers generally get owned. So I would say pick it up immediately.

I definitely think MAG is gonna be where it's at. I used to play KZ and now it just seems like KZ was kind of a fad to me. It was great, but it didn't have longlasting appeal even though the multiplayer was ahead of games like Resistance 2. MAG just offers so much more...sinisteria

I played some Resistance 2 multiplayer this weekend and there were even peope playing that, had no problems finding games.

I just started playing the online seriously today, and it's pretty dam fun. I'm going to have to start playing it regularly now.

I don't know about beating the campaign on Elite though, it wasn't exactly easy on normal.

Wow are u serious? trading it in cuz u can't beat it? comeone its not that bad, I had a hard time doing Elite myself but I eventually beat it and got my Killzone 2 Platinum. Online is chaotic and fun! especially on maps like Tharsis and Radec with 32 players going head on. The unlockables for each class are awesome like repair ability for Engineer (Shotgun) or cloak (invisible) ability for Scouts (Snipers). Not worth trading it in just because of frustration, believe me it happened to me on God Of War Collection, playing Titan Mode which was very very very difficult, which I'd was say alot difficult than KZ2 Elite or Uncharted 2 Crushing Mode but I didn't let my emotions take over my actions.
