IU can't even explain the thrill it was to play killzone 2, it was an accomplishment when you unlcoked something and the shooting mechenics were different compared to 3, i thought the clan system was awsome, 3 seemed to try to hard to go mainstream, killzone 2 is really a gem, killzone 3 was a everday shooter.

The only thing I liked better about Killzone 3 was the different things you got to battle in; tanks, mechs etc.

I prefer Killzone 2 gunplay, maps, sound, online, guns as a matter of fact I prefered this game 100% over Killzone 3. Killzone 2 was a unique FPS while Killzone 3 was just another CoD clone.

I think the problem with KZ3 was they listen to "fans" on the internet, stuff like its only 1 color pallet etc etc. They didn't realize those were just hatter, i actually prefer the color pallet on KZ2 and overall i think it was better and more challenging and had a longer SP. In KZ3 they kinda ruin it and it a shame imo.

I don't see what is the problem with KZ3 at all !?! Most shooters sequels are more of the same with added bonuses and extras(I'm gonna vomit COD here), while in the case of Killzone 2 and 3, both games are different gameplay, controls and mechanics wise.People are just to lazy to try something new.I still enjoy the KZ3 multiplayer and probably will keep on enjoying till they cutt off the game cmpletelly.

KZ2 was way better. Killzone 3 was a downgraded COD clone.

KZ2 is a way better game. But that doesn't mean KZ3 is horrible or that you shouldn't try it out. It is still a great game and I recommend it to any FPS fan.

KZ2 took skill to do well, KZ3 is just another attempt to cash in on the COD craze I lasted about 2 weeks before I got bored of the MP and Ebayed the game and went back to KZ2.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with everyone on this. I think that Killzone 3 is a huge improvement over Killzone 2.

The levels are more varied with great vehicle sections that break up the on-foot shooting just enough so it doesn't get monotonous, the visual design is more colorful and thus easier on the eyes, the controls are more fine-tuned while still having a good sense of weight to them, the cover system is much better, making you only have to tap the L2 button rather than keeping it mashed down, that bulls*** one-weapon limit has been dropped for a three-weapon limit, akin to the first Killzone. And while the story is horrible, I can appreciate the attempted effort that Guerrilla Games put into it. At least Rico is less of an insufferable jackass this time around.

I find it funny how a lot of fans were giving Gamespot a hard time for giving Killzone 3 an 8.5 back in February, defending it and saying that it was better than predecessor, and now all of a sudden they hate/dislike Killzone 3 because its "just another Call of Duty clone". Give me a break.

The only thing I liked about Killzone 3 was how varied the environments were.
