Agreed.I prefer Killzone 2 gunplay, maps, sound, online, guns as a matter of fact I prefered this game 100% over Killzone 3. Killzone 2 was a unique FPS while Killzone 3 was just another CoD clone.

I don't see what is the problem with KZ3 at all !?! Most shooters sequels are more of the same with added bonuses and extras(I'm gonna vomit COD here), while in the case of Killzone 2 and 3, both games are different gameplay, controls and mechanics wise.People are just to lazy to try something new.I still enjoy the KZ3 multiplayer and probably will keep on enjoying till they cutt off the game cmpletelly.
Like the old saying goes "If it's not broke don't fix it".People are just to lazy to try something new.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with everyone on this. I think that Killzone 3 is a huge improvement over Killzone 2.
The levels are more varied with great vehicle sections that break up the on-foot shooting just enough so it doesn't get monotonous, the visual design is more colorful and thus easier on the eyes, the controls are more fine-tuned while still having a good sense of weight to them, the cover system is much better, making you only have to tap the L2 button rather than keeping it mashed down, that bulls*** one-weapon limit has been dropped for a three-weapon limit, akin to the first Killzone. And while the story is horrible, I can appreciate the attempted effort that Guerrilla Games put into it. At least Rico is less of an insufferable jackass this time around.
I find it funny how a lot of fans were giving Gamespot a hard time for giving Killzone 3 an 8.5 back in February, defending it and saying that it was better than predecessor, and now all of a sudden they hate/dislike Killzone 3 because its "just another Call of Duty clone". Give me a break.
This. A thousand times this. Someone give RocketSauce here a cookie, he's earned it.I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to disagree with everyone on this. I think that Killzone 3 is a huge improvement over Killzone 2.
