dude, people dont really care about waiting 10 - 30 seconds for a MP game to load up. Thats just nit-picking way to far. Also, when you start up the game and the opening cinematic starts rolling, that opening greets you with some back story. The rest of the back story is all tied toegether in the story line, so you have to listen and understand the story fully to get the backstory. CoD4 is getting played out ever since CoD5 came out. Thats why I think KZ2 is so superior. Hopefully MW2 brings something new to the table other than the stuff that was already brought from CoD4 and 5.

I wont stunt, I didnt read all that text, but these are 2 great games and I enjoy playing both.

Both have great graphics, features and perks that work well for their title and neither game takes me long to get a match in.

I do enjoy my COD 4 more but that because I play it on 360 and I prefer that gaming online community but KZ2's isnt bad either.

Dont read the whole thing. I dont know what I was thinking. Basically Killzone 2: input lag server lag deadzone no deathmatch sluggish but realistic controls no story, just killing Helghasts, nothing new takes a long time to join an online game (1:30) no one plays specific game modes no footstep sounds, no movement sounds makes you feel like a robot named Seth ugly setting, but very alive and detailed great visuals, animations, effects encourages teamwork Call of Duty 4: get online quick and easy. 20 seconds. 30 seconds max. get online and frag lots of people playing at any time, any game mode great single player mission briefing, story build up

you prefer COD4 more, so do i, at least the MP, but what u listed as bad isnt a big deal, differences or things that they dont have doesnt mean its worse cos of it. and ur a little biased, i dont see you putting in your COD4 any cons, like no different classes. all the classes in COD4 are much of the same, different guns but no other real skills with them. where as Killzone 2 changes hugely how u play with what class you take. if you are going to compare maybe have a better look. COD4 has flaws so does K2, but they are both great fun. so pfft no real need to list some tiny little things that are wrong with especially when the COD4 flaws are left out. hope that makes sense.

You can't think of anything negative about Call of Duty 4? Really?

You forgot to mention 8 maps and 5 game modes the game was released with . I was bored of KZ2 after a week . Kz2 controls are very rubbish though . COD4 is superior in every way. You can't mention COD4 and KZ2 in the same sentence .

"Call of Duty 4 and Killzone 2 are both first person shooters." There's a sentence with both mentioned.

Man, you guys obviously haven't played very much of COD4 multiplayer or else you would know that there is A LOT of problems with it, such as lag, bad hit detection, M16 spamming, terrible matchmaking, terrible spawn system and absolute randomness of the game. That doesn't make it a bad game, it's still very fun to play and very addicting. KZ2 is much better connection due to be hosted on servers, more balanced matchmaking, balanced classes and weapons, much more tactical and strategic and much more engaging to play because the game mode is changing every 5-25 mins. I can see why you think COD4 is better but there's a difference between saying that and saying it has NO flaws.

Call of Duty 4 is a milestone achievement. Killzone 2 is terribly overrated.

i think call of duty is superior in every way posible, the online battles are frantic, the movements and velocity are much more developed. KZ2 is not bad, but the controls are absolutly disgusting, it takes forever to turn around for example, it also lacks weapon customizing, and imo the game gets boring after a few days of playing.

You say KZ2 made you feel like a robot, well COD4 made me feel like I was fighting robots. The AI opponents in single player didn't have to use any clever fighting tactics, just continue respawning to the point that I just finished levels by sprinting from point A to point B.

Fair Comparison? Sounds pretty biased to me towards COD. And I didin;t even like K2 well enough to own it longer than two weeks

I have to say that as a PC gamer and PS3 owner I think CoD4 to be one of the most over-rated games out there.. Its singleplayer was highly deriviative with things such as endlessly respawning enemies I had seen over a decade ago.. It was also the most linear feeling game ever.. Killzone 2 was linear don't get me wrong, but it at least had realistic barriers to which I knew I couldn't really go in there.. CoD4 on the other hand often times had picket fences blocking where you couldn't go.. Furthermore you couldn't open doors your self in that game.. So basically they put you down narrowed paths with endless amounts of brain dead guys that specifically targeted you the majority of the time even when you had quiet afew team mates with you... The multiplayer was nothing to write home with either imo.

I don't recall being able to open doors in Killzone 2. Realism is not that important, Killzone 2 was "realistic" per say but i didn't find myself immersed because the story was just terrible. I had no connection to any of the characters and we just came across countless cliches which is a shame as Killzone 1 had a great story.

I play both and I definitely think COD4 made me say WOW more.

Just from the ar strikes, to the helicopters, and all the perks...

The story was sick, the sniping missisions, the intro-driving in that car, the night vison air stikes...

KZ2 has its own style, im just not into the guns as much as COD4

Maybe KZ2 was over hyed while COD was on its 4th one and people were surpised by it

Yes I know my comparison seems biased. I got lazy and decided to give up writing an essay and screw all of COD4s problems. I know cod4 has a lot of problems but to the guy who said COD4 has lag, that is bs. The worst problem in Killzone 2 that Im having right now is server lag, every single one. And every random person I message doesnt seem to have this problem, but just watch all the youtube videos. In EVERY video people drop dead after being hit with a shotgun literally 1-2 seconds late. That really kills the MP experience. I am liking this game a lot more now that the new patch has come out. The high precision feature, which is actually a safe way for Guerrilla Games to admit they had a control design flaw, makes the controls a lot easier. And the people who say other people are crying too much about Killzone 2's problems, they are the type to settle for less and let companies do half assed jobs. A lot of the problems Ive seen people complain about such as deadzone (patched), input lag, server lag, auto aim (patched), too long to join MP games are legitimate problems that should be addressed but there are always those who say "stop whining" or those who dont notice the problems. But this patch really made the controls better. That deadzone was really killing the fun.

cod4 is all that great. yea i play it time to time but all it is is a sprint, shoot, frag fest. Its so easy and so stupid. It requires no skill what so ever. You see the enemy first your 90% gaurunteed that kill.

Plus the online can be BS sumtimes. Like know matter what, ur always 1-3 seconds behind the other opponent that kills you. Like u get shot and hide behind a wall for 2 secs then you die. Then when you watch the kill cam it shows you not even getting to the wall yet. That happens every time. Or when you know when you crouched then layed down right before you died and watch the kill cam and ur not even don

Honestly, I didn't read past your first paragraph. There was no need to, because it was so apparent from the begining that you weren't going to compare the games objectively. And I can think of much better things to do with my time than reading fanboy rants.

KZ2 is much better than you put off....COD4 is perfection on the fps...KZ2 is the best exclusive shooter on PS3...but then again it only has competition from Haze*laughs a little*...but you're making KZ2 sound like Haze...there isnt really a good comparison between them...COD4 is better but that doesnt take anything away from KZ2 at all...hell COD4 is better than CODWAW in my opinion if anything you should compare those two...KZ2 brings something new and the only reason people dont like the controls is because they're too dumb to either get used to or go in options and change the controls themselves....just because it isnt COD4 it makes it a crappy game...i dont understand that...as for 1sst player....the reason you feel like aslave fighting for no reason....is because you're supposed to...
