killzone 2, who here has given up on elite mode?

:xi'm just resting now.. i'm giving up at the moment.. :(will get back to it later.. it's the most intense game i've ever played..:twisted:

It sounds really bad. I might not even try it. :P

elite mode makes my mind spin, it stresses me mentally and physically..

It can be frustrating it just takes patience. As for the train part your best bet is to throw grenades at the ground when they come near so they die by them, and then when the first wave is dead you have time for 2 shots with the rocket, then when the 2nd wave comes quickly make sure you kno where you dropped your gun to pick it up and kill the 2nd wave then all you need is 1 more shot to take down the tank I believe.

Well after Elite mode and killing Radec which that must be INSANE!!!!! Have fun with the top weekly ranks online if you are trying for the platinum. Oh also idk how hard the beat without dying is but they are the only 3 trophies I need left for my plat. Good luck to me and also to everyone else.

Elite isn't that hard, just takes patience for sure it does get frustrating but it's well worth it for the gold. The weekly ranks are insane though it requires a TON of playing and the not dying one is really easy just go to mission select there might be a couple of missions you didn't die in and play it on the easiest level through mission select it's really easy.

im stuck on the lvl after the train, what i did, was stand near the gun holder, and throw a nade on the left, then shoot from the right keep doing so and when u get a clear second fire rockets at the tank hope this helpsXenoma

i quit on the ending battle in visari square. my teammates kept dying while surrounded by enemies and i couldnt survive long while all the enemies focused solely on me. theres just no decent cover when enemies come at you from about 270 degrees.

this game is an exception i never gave up when i was doing elite mode only to sleep and eat did i.

once you beat it you get unbelivably happy you might even cry tears of joy...i almost did

Go behind the crates it helps to taking out the wave and you gotta wait till theyre at the bridge and don't toss your grenade in the air it fails because of wind toss it at the ground and if anything you could get the rocket launcher wait for them at the bridge and blast em, you really just gotta make sure to get your hits in on the tank get your gun and run back as fast as possible.

I only just recently bet it on elite and got my plat soon after as well but damn it was frustrating at times especially the very last bit just before you fight Radec. I did contemplate giving up but I had gotten so far I just couldn't.

Oh well you could do that then I guess haha, I just did it my way I didn't even know that other way was possible.

Don't give up guys. It took me 6 hours to beat the last section, and for those 6 hours I felt like I was getting know where, but you will get lucky on one of those tries.

I just got a PS3 with Killzone 2 and I'm still going through on normal or w/e and I have no intentions to beat it on Elite. Their are some games I can beat on hardest difficulty with a lot of work, others I can beat real easy and then some I can't beat at all and I can tell this will be one of those games.

I am up to the palace gates on elite now i love how hard it is! i might play it over once more when i make it LOL

I gave up on the 3rd level.

I can barely cope with the mid range difficulty as is. Elite would just be sado masochistic for me.

I have just started playing through on elite mode, all i have done so far is the 1st level. I amtaking my time and dont realy expect to beat it on elite. Usualy i wud try harder 2 finish it in order 2 get the platinum trophie, but since u need those online achievement trophiesin order 2 get it i wont stress 2 much about finishing it. I have 2 of the 4 online achievement trophies but it wud b very hard 2 achieve all 4.

I beat it on elite mode this week. It wasn't that much harder overall actually, just in a few select spots like the train, that teacup ride of death, and the end battle. O and for the train i found a good strategy. When you pass the the tank turret and you run into a new batch of guys. Run back to the turret and they will follow you, allowing you to mow them down. Then go forward some more and do that again. Then taking out the tank with a rocket is much easier.

i beat it with no problem, use the knife when you are in a jam..

whats the difference from elite compared to other difficulties? is it just the enemy can take more hits and you need to take more cover etc.? this is my last trophy after i finish the online trophies which should be by monday and i want to know what im up againstmonkeyd_93
