I wasn't trying to start a war between Halo and Killzone. :| I don't even like Halo. Though, based on what we've seen of Killzone 2 and Halo 3 so far, Halo 3 is looking a lot more fun...

Yesterday, I was watching the developer video of Killzone 2. Anyway, I watched and watched and watched... I couldn't stop from thinking: This looks nowhere near as fun as Resistance was. I mean, Resistance had all of these amazing weapons, tons of variety in enemies, enviornments with more than three colors... It just doesn't look like the kind of game I could sit and play for an hour. Does anybody feel the same way? I just don't think Killzone 2 looks that fun...dewmandew7

Well, the developers aren't showing off their game very well, now are they? I mean, if they want to show people some of the different things in their game, they would show some interesting, new things that other games aren't doing.

I never said that the game doesn't look amazing, I just think it looks bland and it doesn't look fun.

Well, based on that one level it looked pretty fun to me. But that is just my opinion.

its an FPS what do you expect? its not meant to be fun unless youre a fan. and theres only so much you can milk out of a genre. Look at WWII games....

i loved it, i'm hyping it... now i'm just waiting to know if it will support keyboard + mouse otherwise i'll never try and play it.

and i'll be sad if i don't get the change to play it propperly because it looks soo awesome :D

I personally think Killzone 2 looks just amazing. Everything about it looks killer. But even if you are not a fan of shooters, you have to be pumped for games that are definently sell systems because that means more exclusives and more money to third party developers. Good things, good things are coming...

I wonder which one of those translates into "fun". I see you have forgotten or just plain ignored the original posters point, that the game doesn't look fun. Yes it looks great. But if I want super realistic graphics like crysis or killzone2, then i'll just watch a movie or go outside or something and look at something, you know, real, not something trying to look real. If I want great looking games (DMC4, Eternal Sonata, and yes, Halo3) with great stylized graphics, then i'll play a game. So does it look fun? Well if it ANYTHING like Killzone 1, then i say no, and that is what it is looking like. (and yes I have played alot of PS3, not impressed which the lack of "fun" in games)

Not looking fun and not being fun are two different things. I thought the Wii looked fun, until I bought one and hated it.

If you don't like the look of something, or don't think you'll like it, just don't buy it.

Resistance didn't have THAT much colour in it....Chimera were based on grey and black. The enviornments (special the ones in cities) were also full of grey and the occasional tree...But it was fun :D

We only saw one level of KZ2 and 2 weapons....It's obvious that the same level will have the same colour scheme...

Lets wait and see what will KZ2 turn out to be.
