the only thing they need to improve on is the storyline. It was only 8 levels long, i think :(, seemed toooo short. The last mode for difficulty, yeah thats hard, but its still short :(. Game still gets a 10, but please, make the next one longer, or creat more stories for the 2nd one. Fallout 3 has a couple add ons for there game. Why cant Killzone 2 have any :( :)
Take this for whatever it's worth but about a month ago I read an article by an ex guerilla games employee who said Killzone 3 is in development for a 2011 release, not sure how legit this is wish I had a link for you.
Its rumored to be on the ps3(as in they were waiting for the ps4) but the ps3 has a projected 10 yr life span so the rumor is that we may hear of it sometime in 2010 E3 or something.
It will take a few years to make, as Killzone 2 did. Maybe it will be released for the PS4

If they use the same engine (which by all means they can and should), there's absolutely no way it could take that long to develop. I'd say at most a year.

Absolutely agree, I would expect Killzone 3 by end of 2010-mid 2011.
my guess is for holiday 2011. The hard part is done since they have the engine in place so development on kz3 should take less time, however i think it could get a lil delayed if sony decides to have guerrilla make a sequel to the awesome kz:liberation on psp. I think you might see an early trailer for it next E3 but not too much info bc I expect Sony will be hyping Resistance 3 for fall 2010 (we all know insomniac's recent track record so expect r3 announced in jan 2010).

this is what i was thinking. if they used the same engine, the game could be developed in a faster amount of time
not that its too early but since killzone 2 came out this ear in feb. its too early to mention k3. maybe sometime next year we will hear abit more or somethin about k3. usually devs need to make sure their game that they just released is out for a year or so before releasing another one. it will be stupid to release killzone 2 and 3 at the same year lol. maybe e3 next year we get a glimpse like we did with god of war 3 when we saw for first time, a quick trailer
I hope it takes some 2-3 years to be released I don't want games gettin' sequels every effin' year *cough* CoD *cough* .I think they lose their shine :|
Eh there will probably be a new killzone 2 in a couple years...but i really wish they would create a new IP instead...since the killzone 2 storyline to me was quite mediocre...awesome engine and design and everything but the story made me almost hate the single player :(
They are already busy with Killzone 3, but it wont come out anytime soon :P Will defninitely take a few more years. Killzone 2 has also been released a couple of years after part 1 (cant remember exactly but I think it was 4 years later or so?).Anyway, we'll have to w8 a few more years b4 it will be released or before we even get view on any screenshots. But I can definitely be proud of my country haha ^^
They actually already started making the game about half a year ago. It will again be overhyped and just be a regular game at best.

This game was awesome dude IMO don't know what your talking about totally chaotic and beautiful storyline got me into FPS
What beautiful storyline? Are we talking about Killzone 2 here? The storyline was mediocre at best. This game is just average.
This where we will have a difference of opinion. I thought it was crafted great. Did justice to KZ1. If you obviously dislike this so much what was your opinon of Halo 3, or Gears of War? Theres not much you can do with sci-fi shooters. Gears of War was awesome but if I were to compare those 3 games I have to go with the storyline of KZ2 where as you feel for Dom I wanted to kill Rico. This all my opinion of course out of those 3 Halo nor gears gave me the same thrill of Killzone. I love the back story and the game.
