killzone 3 do you want Rico DEAD!!!!!

lots of Shooter games has a BAdass tough Black Guy with an LMG and a White Serious Protagonist, with a hair doo that looks similar to a flattop, and its getting REALLY REALLY old and they all need to die.

i dont really care because he was quite annoying to me, but if he can actually help and kill the helghast and not stand around and keep getting killed then i would like him to live.

Honestly when I was playing KZ2 I really really wanted Rico to die in KZ3, but in an article about KZ3 they specifically said Rico would be more helpful in KZ3 so hopefully he won't be as annoying. However, I still wouldn't be opposed to him falling into a meat grinder or something in KZ3 ;)

Seriously how many of you played the first Killzone? Rico was pretty awesome in that game, namely because he had a Chain Gun with a Rocket Launcher as an attachment. That weapon was win, although probably a bit OP.

True I don't really care for Rico's VA in KZ2, KZ1 Rico's VA was much better. I mean sure Rico cussed a lot, but everyone seems to get their panties in a twist about it. OMG a soldier is cussing my sheltered little mind cannot handle it. Yea he probably cusses a bit too much to be believable, but still doesn't really bother me. As for Rico capping Visari, what'd you expect? The guy's whole life mission is to wipe the Helghast out pretty much because they wiped out his entire platoon. That said Rico probably will die cause he killed Visari and the other Helghast are probably going to make him their main target.

And nah, i want him alive. Hes the man, just not very helpful in battle, but atleast he draws some fire away from you.

YES! He made me so mad in Killzone 2. Most useless character ever. Kill him off in #3. But do it brutally.

i hope i can kill rico myself in kz3. for as much as he ran his mouth in kz2 i had to revive him nonstop. i wish i could of just left him for dead all he did was annoy and slow me down mostly. the last battle with radec he was nothing more than a hinderence.

No. I'm in the minority, but I have no qualms about Rico. I actually found him to be quite funny at times and don't understand why he gets hated on so much.

If he's gonna stick around then he could use some tweaks, but he wasn't so annoying to me that I want him dead. Then again, I wouldn't care if he did die.

In other words, I couldn't care less what happens to him.

It would be better in Killzone 3 if you played as Hellgast and got to kill Rico.

To the people who dont know why he is hated, if you played the game you should know:

**SPOILERS**

He runs his mouth like a tap.

He is a mindless grunt of a character. Like most of the characters in KZ2 (why I like KZ1 better in a way).

He killed an ISA soldier (yes one of his own men) by beating him/ stomping on his head (if I remember correctly).

He killed Visari, who was the only one able to hold back the anger of the Helghast. Thus dooming us all, or at least creating more of a hassle.

In the interview on IGN I believe, they said they fixed rico he's more helpful now. Hopefully he'll be less arrogant in terms of the decisions he makes.
