Killzone 3 or Crysis 2? Which should I get?

I own a PS Move with the Sharpshooter peripheral. I'm aware that KZ3 has the best Move action of any existing Move game. I know that Crysis 2 has no Move capability, but has a sort of urban jungle NYC type playing that sounds interesting. Now, in terms of overall, Single player campaign and multiplayer, which should I get? If I buy either one it would be used, therefore I would miss out on the Crysis 2 downloadable extras, which is another question asking if that's even a big deal or not.

I already purchased Killzone 3 from Gamestop used, but Crysis 2 is also used at a cheaper price and I get can Killzone 3 for about 3 bucks less on Amazon. Should I just return KZ3 and get Crysis 2 instead. I really don't want to buy both at the moment. Thanks

I loved KZ3, platinumed that game. I got really bored with Crysis 2 so I didn't finish it. But thats just me.

Having played and finished both with decent online play I would say Crysis 2 has much better single player which I finished at around 18 hours. Mind you I enjoy stealth gameplay otherwise its around good 12-14 hours long. It has decent online. Killzone 3 has unforunately short campaign around 6 hours, even shorter then K2 but its packed with awesome action scenes. K3 was definitely more oriented towards multiplayer which is the stronger point. Kinda depends what you are looking for, both games look gorgeous and have high production values. I recommend you pick up Killzone 2 and Crysis 1 on PSN. They are both cheap and you can decide which game you like more or like me, you don't mind either and play both. :)Sokol4ever

I already own and beaten Killzone 2. I figured I would get Crysis 2 only because it's the newer game, thus is normally assume whatever mistakes Crysis 1 made, the sequel would flesh out. Yea a 6 hour single player sounds REALLY short, but the Move capabilities are what draw me in. I'll check out the Crysis 1 game on PSN and see how that fares, thanks

I think both are amazing games but I would choose Killzone 3. It's my favorite shooter franchise. Though it has lost a lot of what made me love the first game so much that made it stand out for me personally. Such as it's gun sound effects. I wish they would have kept the first games gun sound effects, but instead they made them similar to other shooters.

Hm, never heard of the 20 for 20. Today they had a 1 day sale of buy 2 preowned games get 1 free. I was choosing between KZ3 and Crysis 2, along with Zelda: Four Swords and RE5:Gold and Vanquish. I ended up getting Vanquish free and it's wild! I'll be getting an amazon gift card soon so I think I'll just get Crysis 2 with that.

Killzone 3 is a great under rated shooter.

Killzone 3 was great and really underrated in my opinion, though I only played it twice and, as mentioned earlier, it was pretty short. I firmly believe that Crysis 2 is one of the most bland FPS games this gen, I couldn't even be bothered to finish it. Other than the shiny graphics, I didn't really care for much of the game. It's pretty love/hate, so I'd suggest renting it or borrowing it from a friend if you're going with that. Otherwise, pick up Crysis 1 off of PSN. It's infinitely better than Crysis 2 as far as I'm concerned, and I wound up playing through it a couple more times. If your PC can run it, I say grab it for that, otherwise the PSN version will do.

Forget Crysis 2, Crysis 1 is the game you really should get. Buy it off of PSN, it's $20 but much better than Crysis 2.

KZ 2 and 3 are awesome games.

I'd recommend Killzone 3 mainly because its multiplayer is addictive

I couldn't put down crysis 2, but took a good 6 month break on killzone before finishing it. The second half of killzone is good but the first half is boring.

I was in the same boat as you..I was looking at KZ3 or Crysis for PS3..I decided on KZ3 as I was really wanting it from the 10/10 reviews and the praise it was getting..Ive been playing games for a LONG time. I have to say the KZ3 was one of the first FPS that I was NOT wanting to beat. I didnt want the game to end. I thought it was actually really really good.

I can only say what I think of KZ3..its a 10/10..online is ok but not great "to me"...BUT tons of options..even bot battles..good good game.

For those that didnt care for the single player in KZ3..I dont know what more you would want in a game? Like I stated before, I actually wanted the game to last longer which is something I NEVER say..Im usually bored instantly, but it was really good.

Crysis 2 and Killzone 2.

Crysis 1 campaign is better.

Killzone 2 multiplayer is better.

Get one of those.

I think Killzone is the better game, but that's just my opinion. I find it has better gameplay and better AI, as well as the more intense online multiplayer.
