i tried to search and didnt find sny thread about it. Killzone 3 and crysis 2 are probably the best looking games coming 2011. we all know crysis 2 will be the best looking game, but most of us also know that it wont be the best looking game. so i`m just wondering if killzone 3 on will look better then crysis 2 on xbox 360 or ps3.
I think Uncharted 3 will look better than Killzone 3, and Uncharted 3 will definitely look better than Crysis 2 on consoles. It's pretty obvious really. You have a game which is built specifically for the PS3, is coming from a developer with many years of experience on the one console and is renowned for pushing the system it to it's absolute limits, and you have a game which pushes the PC to it's limits but has to be ported over to consoles. It doesn't really matter how optimised it is, while Crysis 2 on consoles will look great, it won't look nearly as good as Uncharted 3.

Crysis 2 on PS3 will most likely look exactly the same as the XBOX 360 version, in that case Killzone 3 will look better since it does not have to satisfy the limits of the 360. If Crytek however ups the visuals so that the PS3 version looks better than the 360, then it should look about as good as killzone 3.
I disagree, I've yet to see convincing gameplay from Crysis 2, and the graphics haven't proved revolutionary like I expected them to. Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3 will contend for bestvisually stunning game imo.

Technically Crysis 2 will be a better acheivement than Killzone 3 but still. I mean Killzone 3 looks amazing. And Uncharted 3 will shatter them both to pieces lol.

And that is teh truth. i would hope so seeing as a high end Graphics card to run Crysis 2 at high settings will prob cost a couple hundred more than a new ps3 lol. Not to even bring up the gobs of ram and the cpu :p

Not really, Crysis 2 is apparently less demanding on PC than the first one, which didnt really take a monster of a PC to run Max Settings in the first place, which it was actually pretty well optimised for, mine lagged whenever I had the settings on anything below Ultra.

Even a Geforce GTX 460 can max it out, and it's around around 150-200 bucks depending on the card.
KZ3 for sure. I have yet to see ANY Crysis 2 pics from the consoles that just don't look like RB6v2. Sorry but true, and I think Crysis 2 is going to flop hard on the consoles, solely because of its graphics.
i could care less about the graphics. will the games be any good. i finally got a chance to play crysis in its highest setting. and other than the graphics being GODLY, the game itself aint all that.
All the KZ3 footage I've seen so far would suggested Crysis 2 wouldn't need to do much to look better. Still all the same dull tones, totally pointless, the Killzone series really has to be the most unimaginative visually. Uncharted 3 will be the best looking game next year.

My PC cost me just over £500 about a year ago and it runs Crysis at max settings and at a stable frame rate. Battlefield BC 2 is actually harder to max out in multiplayer due to all the extra physics and particle effects.
I downloaded the hi-def trailer for Crysis 2 from PSN. Looks very, very average. I have a feeling that console owners will be extremely disappointed when they find out the great graphics only apply to the PC version.
Killzone 3 on the other hand will surely look fantastic. It's already proven that with the previous game.

I... Don't know. For style KZ3 for overall fidelity maybe Crysis 2. Who knows? My PS3 is dead, on the fence about fixing it and buying new isn't gonna happen. If KZ3 is really good (not mediocre) I'll pony out the cash for repairs, but if not my Sony days are thru. KZ2 is what made me buy a PS3 in the first place, hopefully KZ3 brings me back.
