In this day when there is a Collectors Edition for every freakin' game that comes out, it's nice to see a Publisher not try to grab an extra 20-30 dollars.

:evil: Figures. Just kidding, I know you guys get frustrated due to more expensive games and that they often release much later in the UK. IMO, you guys deserve to finally get something a little extra. Personally though I'd never pick up a special edition as I'm OCD and all my cases MUST match. :P

Honestly though I'm concerned that GG won't be able to recoup their loses. Many of the PS3's exclusives haven't sold as they were expected too. And with the amount of development time on KZ2, it's going to need to sell a crap load just to break even.

edit~ I was reading GameInformer the other day and a few developers were discussing making a profit on games. Apparently on 20% of games actually make a profit. Kind of scary.

Exactly, or sequels. And then gamers wonder why we get nothing but sequels instead of new, unique properties. Poor Okami, Psychonauts, and Beyond Good and Evil. Also, while I hope it doesn't, it looks like the great Valkyria Chronicles is also going that way. It's sad to see great games get left by the wayside in favor of Halo of Final Fantasy Wii edition.
