Killzone2 Need Help.

ok so i bought killzone2 just to try it out seeing as everyone said it was a killer game.

aside from the controls i'm on the first level and I have to turn the valve to open the flood gate. By doing so you have to hold L1 + R1 and turn anti-clockwise then release and turn clockwise BUT when I attempt it my controller won't move. I tried changing my controller settings to #2 > didn't work so I went back to #1 and still. :( any tips or anything to help me pass this.

This part annoyed me the first time I encountered it, so here's what you do.

Hold the controller straight (pretend that straight is 12:00) and press down the two buttons it tells you to -- I think it'ss L1 and R1. Rotate your controller to the left about half way, so if you start at 12:00 you should be at 9:00. Once you do that you'll see the hands move. Let go of L1 and R1 buttons before you re-adjust your controller so it's facing 12:00 again. Then repeat until the valve is turned all the way.

I paused it for roughly 30 mins, Went out for a smoke, made a phone call and checked the fourms here. After reading the post left for the assist I went back and unpaused it and as soon as I moved it his hands started to move. worked first try. Thanks for the help. I feel slightly stupid now ha.

It's a pointless addition to the game but once you get used to it, it really adds another dimension of first-person to the whole game.
