The game really is a masterpiece. I never even noticed any controller problems lol. The graphics, sound, gameplay, and online are all amazing. You won't be dissapointed by the game.

I say just rent the game or try it at a friends house first. It's an awesome game but the controls can ruin the game for some people. I personally thought the controls were slow but manageable. My cousin hated the controls though.

there's another big update coming. hopefully they fix the control issues. it has some weiiird "mouse" acceleration or deceleration. simply doesn't allow consistent aiming.

When did they change the controls? I got the game three days ago and haven't played it since.

Not a big fan.

@ KapG... The single player campaign is pretty good. It's not as long as I thought it would be... about like COD4. As for the controls... I think they're as good as any other shooter I've played. I was playing COD4 a lot when KZ2 came out so I had to learn the layout... but once I played for a few hours everything became natural. Whenever I go back to COD4 I'll have to re-learn its controls :) Seems to be a pattern here...

Why don't you just switch the KZ 2 layout to Alternate 2? Then it's almost identical....

The controls are awesome. You can't just go around turning left and right like other shooters. You have to be more commited to your choice of direction, so another words its not a twitch shooter like cod4 or others. But once you get used to them, you will see just how bland other shooters are in their character movements. But the weapons are awesome in the way they feel when fireing, each one of them feels totally different, aswell as your character class. The engineer feels more clumbsy but you have the shotty that is very dominating if you know how to use it. Medic class feels alot more agile in its character movements and so on.

Key is to play the game and practice, skill really shows off in KZ2. Alot of people get on KZ2 and play for an hour and give up and then complain about the game lol. While others practice and learn their skills in the game aswell as learn the skills for each class and they start to dominate.

Love it when seeing cod4 masters running around with 13 kills and 35 deaths lol.

P.S. The MP controls are a bit smoother than SP, seems as though the patch only added some smoothness to the MP portion of the game and not the SP.

I seriously find no problems with the controls at all. I have cod4 and resistance 2 and I notice no differences with controller lag. I think most of this is from some few people who complained and then others started "noticing" what isn't even there.

Never really thought about it. I just started playing, and got used to it. I'll check it out though.

The controls are "heavy." so you dont really have that high sensitivity twitch like you do in Cod4. Its a very fun game though and the controls are really the least of your worries.

I really like KZ2's controls. I like the way you gain momentum when running, and turning and such. I also like the jump when your character crouches down first. Also, GreyFoXX4, dig your picture, the dead will be in L.A. on May 9, can't wait.

I don't see what the problem is, the game is fanatastic. Take the time to get used to the controls and enjoy.
