First let me say I am not new to Gamespot at all, I've just been wondering this but never cared to much to ask.

In the game reviews... what does "Tilt" mean? :|

it is what the author thought of the game if he thought it was a great game he will give it a high tilt to adjust the score to what he feels is fitting.

Yeah it's sort of your overall opinion of the game. It's basically the reviewer's tilt, where you adjust it to where you kinda want the final score to be. Or you can use it to justify what you would overall give the game if you could only give it one score.
