Kingdom Hearts 3 conformation?

I heard a while back that squaresoft (or square-enix, i don't know what it is called nowadays) didn't know what they were going to put kindom hearts 3 on.  Has it been confirmed as a PS3 game yet?

wait for E3 or TGS, they'll probably announce something.BenderUnit22

it'll be on PS3, that would be the dumbest thing ever to have KH1 & 2 on playstation 2 and then switch over to Wii. 

Only reason they would do so is for budget reasons maybe...cheaper to put on Wii i would imagine. 

if they announce its not for PS3, i'll cut off my........fingernails.    i know what you were thinking, im not that crazy. 

Kingdom hearts 3 has already been confirmed and there are plans to have something shown towards the end of the year most likly TGS.no platform has been mentioned. Info from a recent Famitsu interview with Kingdom Hearts Director Tetsuya Nomura.hellscovern

Can I get a link to that, I love the Kingdom Hearts series and I haven't heard of any announcement for a third.  By the way they did not say anything about a third game being announced in 07, just that there would be a big announcement so in could be about anything.

Sqenix won't make any announcement of KH3 until FFXIII has been finished as the KH team are currently working on FFXIII Versus. Once the FFXIII games have been released only then will we know what is happening with KH3. Also that would make things interesting as the rumours of a remake for FFVII could become true as the FFXIII team will be available for the remake.jw7103

Well it seems the interview in Famitsu wasn't in regards to Kingdom hearts 3 but somthing different altogether.. could they be doing a Advent children style movie for kingdom hearts ? here's part of the interview the rest was about the kingdom hearts 2 final mix so i didn't bother to post that part..

Nomura: Thanks to everyone Kingdom Hearts has gained phenomenal popularity worldwide. That is why next year the series will be taking a new step… although for the moment I can’t be any more concrete.

Famitsu: If only you could do something about that (laugh). Is it something Disney specializes in? Or is a game?
Nomura: It’s complicated. It is one thing but “project” doesn’t quite encompass it. Right now we’re in the midst of talks with Disney’s side and while there is something they have contributed there is also something we [Square-Enix] have contributed. At the moment we’re talking about how to realise it. Please be patient until we can be more precise.

Famitsu: Will there be a hint in KHII FM’s secret movie?
Nomura: Well… there will be… a little. But also something else…

It's probably in develpment right now. I don't think we'll be seeing it on shelves till maybe 2009. It took about 3 years from KH1 to KH2.Flame_Blade88
