Kingdom Hearts 3- When?

I know we're all waiting for it, but with "Birth by Sleep" out now and "Re:coded" coming out in January for the DS, let's put our heads together. Please post any rumors you have or might have heard about Kingdom Hearts 3. We can continue this forum while we wait for official news.

All I've heard so far is that Square Enix might start development in 2012.

Only time will tell and until then Square Enix will probably tease KH fans with a trailer here and there.

In any case, I've stopped caring about KH3 for some time now, since I just don't have any confidence in the development team. KH1 started a franchise for a reason, though KH2 was a big let-down for me, since the level design was uninspired and the game just ended up being too easy. Also, despite the long development cycle (funny how that was long then but is nothing compared to what we see now), they couldn't even bother to finish the game; the amount of new bosses and extra content in the Final Mix version of that was sickening. I've already put more time into Re: Chain of Memories than I did with KH2, which includes replays. I've only played a little bit of Birth By Sleep, since the Final Mix announcement just drained me of any excitement I had for the game (which so far seems to be leagues better than KH2).

Well you remeber when they annouce FFXIII to be only on the ps3 well when they announce it was coming to the xbox everyone went bananas thats what I ment

even if I knew what platform is coming everyone is expecting that when they are done with VSXIII they are expecting it to be on the ps3 only thats what Im

assuming it will be

Tetsuya Nomura said he plans to start development as soon as Final Fantasy Versus XIII is about finished, so I would say he'll probably start development in late 2011/early 2012 and we'll see a release date for late 2013/early 2014... at least I hope. :?
