Which campaign is the best one to play through first, storywise? No spoilers please.

Terra is recommended as its how the game was designed: Terra, Ven, Aqua. However i heard somewhere that Terras story kind of spoils Vens story so I might try his first. At any rate save Aqua for last if you care about story.

I think Terra, because Terra, Ventus, and Aqua is the order that Nomura recommenced.

when you start a new game after saving clear data, they give you the option of skipping the intro/tutorial.

I only barely just started this game but when do we actually get to pick which character we play? I'm at the very beginning only just starting with Ventus. Is this actually part of the game or does it depend on the mode of difficulty we pick (thus determining which character we start out with first?)?

I started with Terra first. Now Im currently doing Aquas story. I figured that I should do Ven last because I thought he might have the most interesting ending since he looks like Roxas and I did hear he has some sort of a connection with Roxas. But if you guys are saying that Nomura recommended Terra, Ven and Aqua, then I guess Im wrong. By the way, the game is awesome so far.

Go Terra first, I played Ven first and am now playing Terra, and I really didnt think it was going to feel this different. It is so much slower and is really making this playthrough hard for me.

I chose Ventus first. I just beat it with him on Proud Mode yesterday. Now I'm working on Aqua on Proud Mode and I'll do Terra on Proud Mode last. The reason I picked Ventus first is because I wanted to know why he looks exactly like Roxas, I figured he'd have the most interesting story. I guess I chose to do Terra last because he's my least favorite :P

I also think it's kinda stupid if the proper order really is Terra, Ventus, Aqua. We shouldn't be aloud to chose whichever character we want in the beginning if that's really the case. If I had've known about the proper order before I picked Ventus I may have chose Terra first just because of the story. After playing through most of Aqua's story I can see now I should've done Terra first because in some cutscenes it talks about him doing stuff I haven't seen yet, almost like things got spoiled because I didn't want to know about it until I actually played with him. It doesn't really make sense either hearing characters talk about Terra when he hasn't done the things they're talking about yet. I guess it doesn't matter though since we end up playing with all three characters and see all the cutscenes anyways but, it's kinda weird seeing the cutscenes play out of order.

You'd think a message would pop up when you choose a character for the first time saying something about the order so people know. Like, feel free to chose whichever character you want, but if you want to advance the story properly choose Terra first. Actually it would've made a lot more sense to just have Terra be playable first, then once you beat his story Ventus becomes playable then once you beat it with him Aqua becomes playable. Then if you choose to play through the game again on a different difficulty you could chose whichever one you want first.
