kingdom of hearts 3?

i think that would be an awsome idea for the next gen consoles, but i dont think its a good idea cuz they might ruin the series....what do u think???

Nomura is working on a lot of games, including 3 KH spinoffs (Birth By Sleep for PSP, 315/2(incorrect name, but it is some weird number like that) Days for DS, and Coded for phones).

not to mention that the KH team is the one behind FFXIII Versus. do not expect KH3 for a long time.

I always thought there was going to be a Kingdom Hearts 3 and I hope there will be but the fact that the secret ending at the end of the 2nd game is from a PSP spin off kinda lowers the possibility. :(

They told you that in Chain of Memories mate. Look at the characters, the setting, the artistic view, and the overall tone of the game. They even screwed up Ansem, I can't believe how they did that...

Theres is roumors of KH III and there prob def will b 1> Sora recivied a letter from Mickey at the end of KH II. Remember? Now i naven't seen a cliff hanger like that since Halo 2:o

My view is that currently KH3 has been not exactly denied but kind of no its not coming soon but will come if u know what i mean :P

I know there's no accounting for taste, but everytime I read one of these threads I'm just in shock how anyone has a (significant) bad thing to say about KH2. One of the few times a sequel surpassed my expectations in gaming. Guess I'm just easy to please.

KH 2 was great.

KH3 will be on PS3 (at the least)

also don't ge thow people don't think there will be a 3 after there is a two, movies, games, if there is a two there is a 90% chance there will be a 3. I don't know if in your lifetime, but there will be.

But if 3 does come out, thankfully it will be on the wii, because it is nintendo

Im saying that if the game Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, thankfully, it will be on the nintendo wii (in other words, the game is 100% nintendo material, not next-gen graphical ps3 material) because I dont want it on the ps3.

Im saying that if the game Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, thankfully, it will be on the nintendo wii (in other words, the game is 100% nintendo material, not next-gen graphical ps3 material) because I dont want it on the ps3.

I loved KH II's storyline (look at my image), but I do agree about Ansem: SoD...I sorely missed Billy Zane's voice...that, and Mena Suvari as Aerith/Aeris..her voice sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Much improved by the time FFVII: AC came out.

As for KH III, I think it will be in development after 358/2 Days (DS), Birth By Sleep (PSP), and Coded (MOBILE) have all been released, because hopefully by then, FF XIII and FF VS XIII will be out, so the KH team will be availiable to begin working on the game. Personally, I think it will be on PS3...think about all the possibilities with having Blu-ray as the medium. The 1000 Heartless battle could finally be fully realised...

Remember, with KH II Nomura said he had a hard time with that battle because of memory constraints. If it was on the Wii, then he would be stuck with about the same constraint. Also, not only would he be limited with that, but the controller actions would have to be dumbed down a bit...I remember hearing from a KH forum vet saying how he and others had a thread going on how it would be hard to have it on the Wii because of all the actions/customization involved...

Besides, have the main KH entries strayed from it's platform before? No. It could change, but I find it highly unlikely. Birth By Sleep seems like the definitive title of the three future portable games, and it's on the PSP...so by my logic, if KH III becomes a reality, then it'll probably be on the PS3. Hopefully by then we'll also have a MUCH bigger install base too, so hopefully it'll help sway their opinions if they're already looking at other possibilities.

Eh, the game COULD be on the Wii, but as I stated before, I don't think it will be...

Just because people view Kingdom Hearts as a kiddy game, doesn't mean it'll go to the Wii. You forget that the PlayStation 3, even with all it's graphical prowess, is not just geared toward hardcore gamers. Heck, look at most of the games on the PSN...a good bit if not many are aimed for all audiences.

There's also one big game thatcame earlier this year that catered to that audience (Rachet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction), and another coming out year that also caters to that crowd: Little Big Planet. It'll gather ages both big and small I believe. The PlayStation brand is known and has been known as having a variety of games that target all ages...that's why it's been such a huge success in the past, and as for now...who knows? I think it's slowly making a comeback...by this time next year I think we'll see a huge improvement towards everyone's attitude towards it. You can quote me on that.

So just because the PS3 is the graphical beast of this gen, don't count it out just yet. That's just my opinion though.
