Kojima Anouncement

So... It looks like a thunder storm.... Raiden is the God of Lightning.... so... i'm thinking this could be a sign.... only time will tell....

Oh yeah, and there's grass, and Snakes live in grass so maybe it'll have Snake in it.

Also, the cloud forms what looks like a skull's mouth, skulls represent death, and Liquid killed a bunch of people so he probably comes back from the dead.

Oh, and there's a big yellow square at the top, yellow represents the sun, so Sunny will be a main character.

An ad appeared in a Japanese magazine indicating that Kojima's new project will be revealed on the 18th of May. The ad shows dark clouds in the shape of Snake. To quote hweita of GameTrailers forums (linked above): Here's an ad from a Japanese gaming magazine today: Personally I see the clouds in the shape of Snake lying down... Dark clouds in the picture indicate a storm (Raiden = storm in Japanese) is coming? Wow... Hope we get to know a lot more on the 18th of May :)

Also, Konami is probably the biggest attention whore in the game industry.

For a couple days now more and more people in my neighborhood here in Japan have been sitting outside in chairs doing absolutely nothing. They have very anxious faces, but they are not really doing anything. People of all ages as well. I finally went up to one person and asked: "What are you doing?"

The middle-aged man replied: "Waiting for Kojima's announcement."

I slowly walked away.

I couldn't care less for the MGS series now that I've finished it.. and I think everyone is just getting hyped up for a 360 port of MGS4.

That'd be hilarious - the PS3 boards would FLIP! I really hope it's MGS4 being ported, because that would make my day.
