If MGS4 really does close the series as it's suppose to, it would be pretty hard to put in the right holes to insert the right cords.

i think we can all agree with you on that... MGS5 is unique... kids are born to the world everyday so it's no big deal :)

Of course there is going to be a new MGS game, they won't end a great series.

Anyway that is good news but now I'm more interested in MGS4, after playing it and enjoying the story I'll start to think about the next one.

If MGS4 really does close the series as it's suppose to, it would be pretty hard to put in the right holes to insert the right cords.

And we don't know if Raiden is going to stay alive in MGS4.

A MGS without Hideo would be like playing a final fantasy without Hironobu... oh wait...I already played and crapped on FF12.

If a MGS comes out without Hideo making it, I won't even touch it. I'll just consider the last MGS to be the LAST one. Hehe. Good to know he'll most likely do another.

As star said, we don't know if Raiden will die or live. Plus, playing as a cyborg ninja would ruin the game because it won't be stealth anymore.

Most likely it will be a new person, close to Snake maybe who knows. I do know however that Snake will fail his mission and he and FOXHOUND won't be able to stop "The Patriots" or even terminate "Liquid".

If he does it won't feel the same, playing as a ninja in the MGS universe doesn't appeal to me really and it won't feal like a stealth game.

its not a confirmation. he's just saying IF they decide to continue the franchise, such and such will happen. Besides, i think i remember readin an article a few years back saying that Kojima wanted the lead director of the Kirby franchise to direct MGS5.

I would think it would be hard for Kojima to just walk away and let a whole new group of people take control of his baby, no matter how good they are. Either way it's great to know he's thinking about the next part of the series!

A remake of MGS1 has already been done for the GAMECUBE, I know you might mean a remake for the PLAYSTATION brand but I don't think they will remake it for a 2nd time.

Thanks for saying so,i agree 100% with you. Despite some disadvantages (weak character relationships, basic plot) Final Fantasy XII is an awesome game, i really enjoyed its immersive gameplay. And sorry to be off topic.

I don't know about a prequel but at the event, the phone call with Ocelot mentioned a "sequel".

This has been obvious from the start though.

1. Rose said it in the Snake Eraser video to Raiden
2. Kojima said MGS4 was the end of the "Solid Snake Chapter". He's never said that MGS4 wold be the last MGS game

I think it won't be hard for Kojima to give a story line for MGS5 .....

think about all the stories we were told during the previous 3 games via the codec or by dying bosses !! each one of these stories could turn into a great game !!!

but what i really expect is a new organization with a new hero (( maybe someone we'll meet at MGS4)) .... which finally could end the metal gear outbreak !!!
