a) That's a no.

b) Even if it does go over, why would we care? Our version came out first, our version is scratch free (and will remain so), our version doesn't span 10 DVD discs, and our machine will play our version 6 months from the day we bought it.

I really see nothing to worry about here.

The video of that Q&A was fun. Though speaking on that subject, Kojima and everyone laughed after the question was askedand he passed the mic on over toKenichiro Imaizumi who then said "You know, right now we're only making it for PS3. We don't have a plans for Xbox 360 for now". To me, either the laughing could be seen as "Oh no, not again" or they will consider it in the future for a possible redux version like Subsistence after a year or two. Could be both.

I agree in both aspects. It's amazing how most people on this board are hating on the topic creater when in all reality this is a perfectly valid thread discussing news about the PS3. I to will not be surprised if the "Substenence" version is ported to 360 a year or so after release, it may be on two discs (possibly 3 if MGO is included) but that would be no large loss considering the original MGS was on two discs. I don't really care either way as I have neither console and though I plan to buy a PS3 I can't stand the gameplay in MGS. Weird though how everyone is hating the thread creator.

The quote was taken not from you but from what almost every fanboy would think of that answer.

You are saying it will by saying that Kojima hinted to it, when he clearly hasn't hinted anything at all.

If the game comes to 360/PC/Wii then it will come, but at right now its PS3 exclusive and there are have been no confirmation of it going multiplat.

Pure speculation:

Don't you think Kojima is freaking bored with the same question over and over again. And that he is trying not to give the same answer twice. How many times (in how many languages) do you think he was asked about the exclusiveness of MGS4

never say never again.. or did you not learn anything from james bond. you may not like what hes posting, but its no worse then all the blu-ray battle or bioshock rumors floating around. personally i don't see what the big deal is. who cares if ps3 gets a port of bioshcok or the other console gets a port of mgs4 unless you work for sony why should you care.

also the ps3 version will be the better one as it was designed for it. so it baffles me as well why anyone would care. but people do. also if anyone wanted this thread to die just simply don't post. a majority of the post on this thread are from people who think it shouldn't have been made in the first place.

MGS4 will come out for 360 but as a second (or sequel or whatever they are called)

MGS4 Existence of something like that. If they said they have no plans for it then mGS4 for 360 is not planned, but I beat they are working on it for MGS4 X whatever

Once you compress it good enough, 1-2 discs.

Just hope Kojima didn't add the HD quality with all that space...or the compression will affect the sound AND the graphics...but if he wasn't using the space then the graphics won't be worse.
