The e3 trailer looks sick and im definatly going to buy it but i couldent imagen it being any better than portable ops. theres only so much they can do. The game graphics look awsome tho pushing the psp.
By PS3 quality I'm pretty sure he was referring to gameplay and not graphics. The few intuitive features mention seems like it's a push. If every feature of snake was implemented in PW, I wouldn't be surprised at the term PS3 quality or better.
i wasnt refering to the graphics i was refering to the fact that we cant expect ps3 quaility for the game only so much can be done with a psp. Its possible that its going to be ps3 or better worthy but im sceptical.
Like i said i cant imagen that its going to be much diffrent from portable ops maby just a few tweeks here and there. Still hardcore metal gear fan. Definatly going to buy it no matter what.
If it is PS3 game quality... maybe we should hope for a better game lol. (couldn't resist) No you can't achieve half the graphic power of the ps3 in any way possible but they can sure try... and fail.
Metal Gear Solid is a lame franchise. I don't get why so many people go gaga over it. The games don't play all that well and the stories and characters are like 007 meets anime meets daytime soaps.

According to Kojima, MGS: PW is his MGS5 so if it ends up sucky, it WILL be a problem. And I don't get how PSP is not a main console. Just because it's a handheld? pretty lol.

It may be his spiritual MGS5 but that doesn't mean its gonna have the same expectations as MGS4. And regardless if its metal gear when was the last time anyone had ridiculous expectations for a handheld game? I cant recall any, and that's what separates main consoles and handhelds because the hype and expectations are not nearly as high because because its just not the same kind of experience. Although im excited because im a fan many people might be indifferent to whole thought of a game like this being on a handheld system.

well portable ops plus ISNT the story... its just online. and yeah if youre expecting the story along with it then yes its a letdown. but it doesnt suck. the regular version is where the good stuff is at!!
Customisable Snake has already got me sold on this. Add to that the fact that Hideo Kojima himself is in charge and that he claims it will be an MGS5 class game and I'd gladly pay more than the asking price. Its going to be the best PSP game EVER!!
