Kratos's brother ??? Anybody remembers him ?

Just finish GOW the original (again) on the GOW Collection, I checked the treasure section and saw a video about Kratos having a brother who was separated from him because he was a weakling back then, and got thrown in the mountains to fend for himself. This brother is still alive and want to take vengeance on Kratos for having left him. Now I didn't remember seeing this vid back then, but it hints that this maybe Kratos' next adventure, which was supposed to be GOW II, but as we can see this idea was scrapped in GOW II. Anybody thinks he would make an appearance in GOW III ? that would be sick :D

There's speculation that he's Hercules, but I'm not sure because I don't keep up with this series, that's just what I've heard.

It would be cool if he was Hercules, or like the God's secret weapon. A fight with someone similiar to Kratos in size and who isn't really weak would be pretty great imo.

P.S i don't want to make a thread so i hope someone answers this or at least knows wat im talking about. u guys remember last year when hip-hop gamer had this video interview with that chubby guy, where he was speechless about the new god of war demo they played or seen, is there any news about it yet? they said sometimes in January we will hear about it and i know its early in Jan but doesn't hurt to ask i guess lol

There is bonus movie about what happened to Kronos carrying Pandora's temple after God of war 1.

He died 1000 years later, and modern day comes, with helicopters, his skeletal remains in the desert, with the words 'The temple still holds many secrets, as with all great myths, a new hero will emerge'

I think that clip was a set up for the movie which was at one time planned, or is still planned.

His brother might make appearance in GOW III but I hardly believe it would be Hercules.

In the end of GOD II Kratos holds the power of time itself so developers can add anything they wish but I believe they will stick to current story that has flown.

Either way I can't wait for the game. ;)

Hey, I don't know the story, I'm just going on what I read in a topic about this game a while ago.

zeus have 3 son's.. hercules is one of them, the other 2 i dont know their name... But in god of war 2 it is said that kratos is son of zeus, so there's a 50% chance that that was hercules ryt?? i cant clearly understand the story of god of war since it dont have subtittle, but i remember itsaid that kratos is son of zeus.. sorry for the spoiler

I think the devs are going to ignore all those bonus vids. Its too bad, they already ignored the one w/ the mother

If it is Hercules, he would completely own Kratos. Didn't you see the Disney movie? He has Phil. Phil.

So here is the scoop. Hercules is a character from Roman mythology. Heracles is the Greek counterpart which the God Of War series is based upon. Heracles and Kratos are indeed half brothers because they share the same father, Zeus. If you watch that little treasure video again youll see that Kratos' brother died when he was banished from Sparta and left to fend for himself. Kratos' brother now resides in the underworld as some kind of powerful entity or demigod. It remains to be seen what part this mysterious brother will play. Grul12

Maybe hes that molten looking dude at the end of the GOW 3 demo....

hercules is an unlockable character that you can play as in gow2. so hes already in the game. in gow3 kratos is going after the gods in their own house, mt. olympus. so we know that were going to see the GODS of mt. olympus get killed. anyone esle being thrown into the game ie - hercules or kratos brother or whomever is just speculation at this point and highly doubt we see either of them.
