lack of AAA games is killing me!

or just ONE really amazing game!! I'm really looking forward to Gravity Rush and Little Big Planet, but I often find myself typing a paper or something at my desk, and then I gaze over to my Vita which is sitting there collecting dust, and I think of how AWESOME it would be to have an Elder Scrolls or Demons Souls game on the thing- It has so much potential it gets me worked up just thinking about it... A great open world RGP could do wonders... I'm not trying to be one of those people who come in here to state the obvious.... so I apologize in advance if I come off that way. Fingers crossed they announce something amazing at E3.

Well I count the Japan release date also.

Whatever man. I have 9 retail games and 5 downloaded games from psn. All are excellent games in their own right and more than enough to keep me busy till the next wave of games. I could be happy with what i have for my Vita for the next year, or more. If they stopped making Vita games today, i would still be set with all the games i have on my Vita for some time to come. What the hell is AAA anyway. I could play Hustle Kings and Stardust Delta forever. Virtua Tennis is always challenging, Marvel Vs Capcom always puts up a good fight. Hot Shots and Lumines can last forever. I have barely touched MLB 12 The Show. Still having a blast with Motorstorm RC and Wipe Out. Im still waiting for Mortal Kombat, Resistance, Gravity Rush, Little Big Planet and who knows what else is coming out next year....so quit **** and just play some games.

I thought this was apparent in my topic, but apparently it was not: I understand that a system that has been out for only 3 months or so is not going to have a robust library of AAA, and this is NOT a complaint topic. What irks me is the lack of updates on upcoming games, and the lack of announced upcoming AAA games. I don't doubt they will be coming, but some announcements would be nice. At this point in the PSP's lifetime, GTA: Liberty City stories had already been announced, so those of us stuck playing Untold Legends had something to look forward to. Right now I am having a good time playing Motorstorm RC, Super Stardust Delta, Unit 13, Pinball Arcade, Wipeout 2048, and Rayman Origins, but I'm just getting impatient and I want some big games to be announced! I started this topic with the intention of praising the Vita's potential, but strayed off course so my original idea became a bit muddled.

In the exact same boat got a 4GB card but when PS1 compatability comes around ill buy a 32GB card, since I never owned a PsP Ill also be on a spending spree for old PsP games =)

Vita has been out in Japan for 4.5 months...

as most people are saying give it time almost every console goes through this. this is why I usualy wait a year to two to get a new consloe.

If you aren't playing your Vita all the time, it's because you THINK you need to ONLY play AAA titles. The Vita has good games. I've been playing mine non stop since launch You just need to change your mind set.JustPlainLucas

what killing meis the the lack of sony support for the system. i like the hardware but the software is a joke. even 3ds early days had better games even tho they where underwhelming. they need to release the ps3 psn games on the psvita in order for use to get something to play.

There are also quite a lot of PSP titles, but if you've already played those it's not quite as interesting. If you look at the overall picture and not just your personal opinion the PS Vita really isn't that bad all things considering. On another note one shouldn't just judge the games because of the score they got (not saying you are), but both Rayman and Uncharted deserved a better score IMO and I'm hearing about people whose most played game is either Motorstorm or Unit 13.

At any rate E3 is getting closer and I doubt we'll hear anything from Sony before. Sony DO support the system, but announcing games here and there so close to E3 is foolish. They'll most likely try to generate as much hype as possible.

Zelda: OoT (considered by some to be the greatest game ever) isnt better than Rayman and Uncharted? Sure its a remake, but really?

The only thing that's disapointing me is the lack of unique games made just for the system. There are way too many ports.
