I know my choices may be somewhat... controversial, but dammit, it's my choice, and those are the two I'm having trouble picking between. I'm working on getting all the good games over time, but I want to try one of these. Which should I try?
lair is awesome just dont be overly dramtic with the controls. realy ive played it the controls dont ruin the game they make it. only a idiot would have problems with them. you seem like a smart person you would like it
Haven't gotten a chance to try Soldier of Fortune yet, but I really enjoyed Lair. It was different from most games I've played in a long while, namely because the tilt controls really add to the experience.

He's right. Lair is great as long as your not stupid enough to use overly exaggerated movements.
Though it has its few share of problems, Lair is a really fun game that is worth trying out. I own it and love it. Bought it on release and still playing it. ;) The motion control work really well though the 180 turn can sometimes be annoying and some of the ingame cutscenes though it's easily overlooked. Try it, you may like it.
Yeah, go with LAIR. It is unique in it's own good and positive way. I bought the game and never regretted doing so, because I really got use to moving with Sixaxis. Therefore movement wasn't a problem for me, as it was for everyone else that said something negative about.
Just to let you know, if you decide to get LAIR it may take a while to get use to the controls. My advice: stay in the first mission (a training mode) and practice just flying around and moving with the sixaxis before you start doing other things (like attacking, takedowns, dragon fights, etc).
i think with lair you at least have a chance of liking it. graphics, sound etc are nice on it too. soldier of fortune has NOTHING going for it, total garbage.
