I passed LAIR about 2 days ago mostly with no medals or bronze medals.

I started playing LAIR again to get silver, gold, or platinum medals and everything is clicking like crazy. I mean I am not having any trouble with the controls like at first. This game is great now I am getting gold medals and silver medals.

I recommend to anybody that owns LAIR to revisit the game after you beat it to see the difference and enjoy the graphics which look great on my New TV.

Leave any thoughts if youown the game or are planningon buying the game

Peace

So much negativity coming from the press that quite honestly, i'm affraid to lay 60 bucks on this game. But, i really wanted to play it. Maybe when they'll release a demo in PSN and let me see how it is for myself, then i'll buy it.

i rented it and on the last level and i must say, steep learning curve, but once thats gone its a good game, not great, but around 7-7.5. no where near the 4.5, honestly think that reveiw was out of line. great story on this game, some times the visuals are a tad blocky, talking to you mantas. and one thing bothers me: everything explodes, instead of having the manta corpes and other stuff slihtly explode and sink, they just full out explode. even the warbeast explode and they dont have a reason to.

I would honestly give this game at least an 8. The reviewers were a little out of line. ShawDowFX just rent the game at least you have to try it to really see if the controls kill it for you or not.

The highest medal that I got was bronze as well. I got bronze for every mission except about 2 actually, where I got none. I am definitely going to play through it again, as right after I beat it, I realized how much that I really did enjoy the game despite it's flaws.

After beating it, I watched all of the "making of Lair" videos, and sat there listening to the KILLER soundtrack on the "concert hall" section, and I was like, "Man, what a misunderstood game." I am betting that all of the people who hate it, were over exerting the Sixaxis, as the controls are actually so sensitive that I found simply relaxing, and pretending that you are holding reigns is the key.

Anyway, I agree. Although I think that Lair has some really bad camera issues, as well as a sketchy lock-on system, the game as a whole really got burned far too harshly. I gave it a 7.5 personally, and find it to be a very enjoyable, solid game that is almost, but not quite a truly great game.

Yeah, LAIR aint that hard. but most of the people today are controlled by the Media and Reviewers out there. so they are ofcourse gonna say "No way, some guy, i don't know, who played the game for 1 hour and then reviewed it, said that it was a BS game, and im gonna believe him, because i don't have any friends and im a complete tool" ...

(just watch, anyone who freaks out because i called them tool's because they are controlled by some random internet guy, are gonna complain about my post, and that is how you seperate them from the real gamers)

Only tiime I hate the controls/camera is when I go beside an object and it's hard to control the dragon and get him away from whatever the object is, like a castle wall or mountain.

Quick question, how many levels are there?
