Lair (To Buy or Not to Buy).

The game has been pushed back from Aug 14th to Sept 4, which actually puts it in competition with Heavenly Swords, but that is not what concerns me. There hasn't been much talk about this game considering it is a Sony exclusive and one of the first original IP. I was hoping for a positive review from E3 but I didn't see a general consensus that this game will be a must buy. What is the general consensus among you gamers, because instead of purchasing it on day one I think I might sit back and wait for the reviews. What's your thoughts

I'm going to buy it, I don't really trust reviews completely enough to decide wether a game deserves a purchase or not, opinions varry. And to be honest, Lair looks pretty sweet to me. That being said, I just got my PS3 last week, and I've just finished Resistance and as much as I love my PS3, there isn't much else to play on it at the moment.

Also the game is being made by Factor 5 and if you liked rouge squadron on the gamecube or n64, you'll probably enjoy this game.

At least give it a rent.

Being pushed back now leaves Warhawk to come out before Lair. I'm probably going to buy that now and wait to get Lair after reviews or just later. So it kinda lost my sale.WongB

I think alot of people fell this way about Lair, hopefully the game comes through and becomes another good ps3 title.

Dude am tired of Sony delying the best games further back just becasue of that noone should buy them . I was so exited that it was finally coming out cause it looks so good and now they tell me it has been push back??!! other then that the game is really really nicealberto2045

Its not sony Delying the games, its the company making them. Either way I'll be able to wait and R6V will fill the void till then .

Wow. Y'know they pushed it back for a reason. To pretty much make the game good with online stuff like leaderboards, etc.

Anyway, I'm not going to be buying this. I know, I KNOW it does look amazing, but y'know dragons and fantasy games... not my cup of tea. If you are hardcore into dragons and such, I guess, then this game is a must buy.

buy the game you love, forget about the reviews.

I still like armored core 4 even its reviews are that bad, missions short or whatever.

Every game has some points to enjoy.

Lair is a must buy for me, cuz I simply like dragon riders, even it's just a movie like eragon.
