Well with all the stuff that we have been hearing about Lair who will still give it a chance? I mean me I love dragons so this game always had my interest so it will definitly be a rental. And yes I know there are already threads like this but hey the one's I saw didnt include a poll. Yes this is one is different.
I already bought it, and I love it. the reviews are all wrong, they just have no skill flying a dragon at all. Ask me about any problems you have with teh game and Ill debunk it.

Where's the Poll option to burn down Factor 5's HQ? That's what I want to do.
I'm still gonna buy it. The reviews don't mean crap considering all anyone complains about are the controls. Yet on the other hand, a good portion of the user reviews say the controls are fine after a 15 minute tutorial.
Gamers are getting so close-minded and impatient. I look forward to playing a game in a new way even if the learning curve is steep.
Btw, I love how the Wiimote is praised, even though it is not the typical way to control a game. Many people say it does take some time to get used to(like Lair controls?) I smell a big pot of hypocritical BS boiling8)

I have Lair, and while I don't think it's a GOTY contender, I in no way agree with Gamespot or IGN's reviews of this game. I can understand that this game will be hit or miss based off of the forced use of the motion sensing but I personally think it works pretty well. I like Lair, I don't love it and I certainly don't hate it, nor do I regret my purchase. It's a fun game that will hold my interest long enough to get some solid play time with it. I must say to all of you on the fence that you should wait to rent the game, or maybe even buy it when a used copy is available at a store that allows returns so you're not stuck with a game that you don't care for.

I rented it last night and boy am I ever glad I did. I'm only 4 levels in, and it's not THAT bad, but I can already tell this is a game that I will put down the second the controls piss me off.
People that are praising this game are just as deranged as the reviewers that are giving it a 4.5. You can tell who bought the game and who didn't, the buyers are now feeling so low from wasting their money that they are defending the controls, stating it takes skill to master and that Factor 5 should be praised. While on the other hand, the lucky ones that rented it can relax and know that playing this game is only costing them $5.
Maybe I'll spend that remaining $55 on something else.
its not like I wasn't expecting a bad review from gamespot for this game, lets face it theis game has been getting bad reveiws across the board, that being said I will probably buy this game..... when its about $20

I was hoping this game would restore my hope that one day the ps3 would be better than the 360. I'll rent it when I have time. and am finished with bioshock.
