I think they decided not to release the demo, because fans would have figured out that the SIXAXIS wasn't used at its best for the game, thus leading to them not buying the full version.
Well its suposed to take about an hour for people to get used to the controls. To bring out a 15 min demo would just give players the wrong interpretation. leading to even less sales
^true, it took me about 45 minutes before i was fully capable, heck of a fun game, gonna wait for a pricedrop though. or at least till i get a gift certificate or something.
If you have doubts about the game-play, you can rent it out before committing. To be honest and this is my opinion, the control isn't as bad as everyone said to be.
Nope! Just checked. There's no demo available now, but I really think they should release one. I own Lair and think the controls are very accurate and precise. I had no trouble playing it myself, but I guess other opinions vary.

I don't think it's the SIXAXIS that's bad. I could be people aren't used to using it.
I just got Lair and I was able to just pick it up and use the controls right away. Actually I have to say it's one of my favourite games........yeah....seriously. But it's kinda hard!
You can just buy the game and if you don't like return it within a week or 14 days in EB games, and swap for another one. You can do this with the game you swap it for too and the next...well you get the point:)
