It was originally $14.99 when I purchased it on my X360 the day it was released, I thought PSN had the same price point till recently. It's been $10 since PSN went back up or so I figured.
It's probably just a price drop, or it's on sale. It's not being removed. Like the rest are saying, I wouldn't recommend it. I loved the original, but this one isn't good, imo. The fighting/hit detection is off, and it's missing a level from the original game.
I dunno, but I paid $2 for it back during an XBLA sale and it wasn't worth that. I'm amazed they managed to craft such a poor remake of a good game.DJ_Lae

the demo should give you that nostalgic feel, and should satisfy you..i belive the changed the music and other things that made the game so original back in the day,.....Still a great purchase though, Im a sucker for the old school games,

just a better, simple, more fun time in gaming...2 buttons, a whole lot of immagination and most importantly skill...No such this as respawn or starting at a higher level...You had a few lives, a few continues and your skill....
I bought it a long time ago. I seem to only remember paying $10 for it, but I could be wrong. It was fun to play through once for nostalgia, but that was about it. I don't know if the original really was better or if I'm just remembering it that way. I've had it deleted from my PS3 for awhile. Guess I should redownload it before they remove it. Or will you always have access to it if you bought it?
Another thing: maybe it's just me but I don't seem to remember Shredder being that insanely difficult in the original. Maybe I'm wrong. Actually I tended to play the co-op mode with a friend more than anything on the original. I've only played single-player on the remake since none of my friends have it.
