yah i downloaded the patch hours ago

I was able to get online last night but I didn't see a patch for it. I will check again tonight.

Well R2 dropped a 9.5 Bomb at IGN. Whos to say it wont here. But then again, i see 8.5spot rearing its 8.5 head.pseudocaesar

I was speaking more to Gears getting lower than a 9.0, it simply won't happen. It's also very likely that R2 will score 9.0 or higher as it looks like one hell of a game.

How come they make not mention of this patch on www.littlebigplanet.com yet they mentioned bringing the servers down to remedy this problem 2 days ago?

I can't believe they've botched it this badly. They had a huge beta, it's one of the year's biggest releases, and the game is almost totally broken after being recalled and delayed an extra week. I hope this all passes and we remember LBP as one of this generation's greats rather than an enormous mistake.

Totally broken? Lol, its just the servers that people are having trouble connecting with. The rest of the game is fine, if its that much of a problem, unplug your PS3 from the internet.

Looks like the patch is working for some people, but clearly not all people.

There is update in the article says:

"[Update: Servers were running smooth this morning, but it looks like they're down again this afternoon. Perhaps the new patch didn't ease the server strains after all.]

That can explain something guys :P

The patch didn't help me either, but it's on the server side not the console side so I hope that they are still trying to fix it. Oh, and did anyone play the final 2 levels for the game? They were AMAZING! tons of different machines.

Yeah, the singleplayer is fine, but the bulk of the game revolves around the creation tools and user-made levels, which isn't functional at the moment.
